"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

A few years I saw this girl who goes to my college and we had a class together. We were in the same group for a project and everything went regular like it would doing a group project. The time I saw her I thought she was cute but wasn't hot like I normally see with some woman at first sight.

Then after the semester was over, I never ever had same classes with her anymore. It is only after I don't see her anymore that I cannot get her off my mind. I said she was cute when I first saw her but didn't develop much interest but my interest level for her is real high now. Whenever we were doing a project together along with other classmates, she always seemed serious about the work, not much real joking around at all. I am obviously in the friend zone right now and can't do anything about it since I got feelings for her AFTER seeing her for one semester when I never got to see her anymore.

So apparently i grew interest in her in a good couple of months. Is there a chance that woman can grow interest the way I grew interest in her? Do woman still have feelings for other guys even though they are in a relationship? I still see her now occassionally and she looks real good.

Now i want to completely lose interest in her because she is in my mind way too much and I cannot do anything about it anymore. Everytime i see a girl outside or whatever, her image keeps popping back to me and it is hard for me to have the interest level in other girls as with her.

Can anyone tell me whats the best way to lose interest for her? I do regret not making move earlier but it was hard b/c I didnt have high interest in her at the beginning. Ahh, this makes me sound like a complete loser.

I know the best thing to do is MOVE ON but can anyone give me specific advice on how to just lost interest for her that she will never be on my mind anymore? Thx for any advice.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Well, what happens when you "lose" something? I mean, typically, what are the "steps" that it takes to actually lose something that you have?

Let's say you lose your car keys.

What "steps" did you have to take to lose them?

First you had to LAY THEM down. Second, you had to WALK AWAY, Third you had to GET DISTRACTED ENOUGH TO FORGET WHERE YOU LAID THEM DOWN.

Maybe I'm making this a little too simple here, comparing "losing interest" to "losing your car keys", however the principle is still the same.

1. Lay the thought of her down. Put her behind you. This means severing all contact (or as much contact as you can control) with her.

2. Walk away from her and don't look back. Put her out of your mind.

3. Get busy! Go out and have fun. Nothing cures depression or heartache or oneitis like ACTION. Go and do. Go and do. Go and do.

Good analogy.

well i talked to her a while ago. I stopped talking to her b/c I wanted to lose interest in her and get her out of my head. Thx to Vypros for your advice .

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Dig up some songs you really enjoyed from a time BEFORE you were into her or preferably before you even met her and start listening to them again..

At least it works for me in addition to trying something interesting at the same time.
