first off, cheers to all the posts here. some times people just need a kick to snap out of the detours and take a bull by the horns. now, reading over what i just wrote, i don't really expect any of you to understand that, im confused myself. (just smile and nod)
you see, being a dj doesn't just help you get volunteers to drain your balls for you, but improves your life in many needed areas. since i've started, i've noticed a change in my goals, my outlook on life a sa whole and my business interactions. i'm a fvcking social shark on xtc!
the difference between being a dj and anything else is that a dj acts and works for himself. everyone else dreams and complains over free coffee and donuts.
i was in this situation myself not to long ago. ive been djing, sincerely learning the arts, and boot camping for about 5-6 months. in the beginning, i was just looking around for "quick fixes" and "detours" around my weaknesses. dude, it doesn't work. the more time you spend learning these cereal box tricks, the later you fix yourself like a man.
noitice all the populur sex icons at your school. when they talk, they lead. they're just down right cool and understanding people and when they talk to a group of people, everyone listens and the girls are captivated. they attract people, they don't spot out and seduce one on one.
right now, forget about talking to girls of your interest, instead, talk to everyone. learn how to get a feel of different personalities and common, intriguing interests. stretch those interests out of proportion and watch how people will react. read people and reflect their thoughts to them AND beam your genious as well.
i've heard it all before: body language, voice tone, eye contact, tongue scrapers. yea, these may be important, but if you can't fascinate her with you thought processing, somebody else will and THEN you'll realise the importance. take it from me, it sucks to have a chick loose interest in you just becuase of something your were purposely ignoring/neglecting in yourself. personally, i like to talk about
1) feelings( the rush i get from music, places i go to and how i "let go")
2) adventurous experiences (mountain climbing, travelling, putting a thin layer of cinamon oit all over the toilet seats a work)
3) things that demonstrate my masculinity (kickboxing, travel)
4) my current weak point, things that show my deep thoughts and intelligence (art, soceity and epiphanies)
as long as you show that you're sure of yourself and your talking like you really believe in what your saying and not talking like your seeking approval. remember that.
i'll tell you my best attraction tools right now. ****y and funny (BE PLAYFUL), role playing, mystery, and a big scar i got from falling out of a tree during a make out session.
on the note, hitch sucks. he was pretty game at the beginning but he turned into her lap dog somewhere after they ended the walkie talkie talk.
well, i helped you now you gotta help me with my current situation. check out the thread titled, "what do you guys do when a relationship gets boring? "
