"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

This may sound pathetic, but this "girl" is actually my girlfriend. I started going out with her last week.

Anyway, I've come to notice that she loves attention. She knows that she looks good and showing off her body. There are times when shes into me and friendly, and times where if i go to talk to her or touch her she'll just walk away.

For example, today during the day we went to a friends. She bacially ignored me and everyone, but atleast spoke to others. I got pissed, and left before everyone else w/out saying goodbye. After, before tonight she called me to ask why i didnt say goodbye and was upset and i told her that she was being an ass. She messaged me online telling me not to be upset and how she cant stand it.

Tonight we hung out with friends and she was KINDA like that again, towards the end of the night she began to become more friendly.

However, I HATE it how she is the one who decides when to be touchy and friendly.

How do i act with this type of a girl? Should i start hanging out a little more by ourselves? Hmm...

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

do you really like her is she worth all the thinking and confusion in your head?, if you do then hold onto her and just deal with it, or if not then don't accept it and walk away...attention seekers are a pain the ass in my experience and through the hard way I have just learnt to be civil around them and not compliment them or spend that much time with them, too draining....when that time and energy could be spent on someone who pays the most attention to you and her as a couple....oh and nope it doesn't sound pathetic...the thing I have found is if you have to question the way she acts around you is different when she is around other guys then what is she like when you are NOT there?.

I mean i guess she's worth it. I'm debating bringing it up and telling her how i fell. Like to start acting like were a couple and stop with the 2 diffrent sides.

Should i start ignoring her a little more maybe? Hmm

ignoring her is one way... but that will just make her bored around you and she might feel like she can walk all over you and ur too pssy to say anything

on the other hand; if you make fun of her and bust on her behaviour then she will feel more attracted to you and will respect you more

It's pretty simple

First of all she's not your girlfriend. You've been dating for a week. girlfriend should be reserved for someone that shows mutual interest over an extended period of time i.e. "months".

I think your just basically overeacting on the whole thing. You've been going out for a week and your mad cause at a social event she doesn't hang on your arm every second. If you tell her how you feel i guaratnee yall are going to break up.

Listen to what i tell you right now. You've been going out for a week and i can tell(just from your post) you're already way more into her than she into you. I'm not saying she won't begin to fall for you more, but you need to get your emotions in check. YOU'VE BEEN GOING OUT FOR ONE WEEK.

To me it sounds like she is a very outgoing person and you should be able to judge that one because no one on here can unless you give us more background. To very outgoing people that is what they normally do in a very social situation such as the one you described and they don't want someone haning over their shoulder.

She called you afterward which 1. shows me she cares. If she didn't she wouldn't have bothered. You're obviously a jealous type(nothing wrong with that but if you want the relationship with "her" to continue you'll probably have to get it in check).

All of this to me seems like you're more of a reserved guy"im guessing im right(correct me if wrong but i mean at a party you don't make a point of trying to talk to everyone, wheras the girl your seeing not"girlfriend" might).

So to end my thesis i feel you're being a little paranoid and overprotective especially this early on in the relationship. If you want the relationship to continue id advise you to calm down a good amount in terms of your suspicions. Another thing might be to give updates from time to time so we can give you more objective advice depending on the situations that occur.

Right now I think your just being paranoid.

In the beginning, leading up to the relationship it was clearly her who was the one who was most into me. She ALWAYS imed me, ALWAYS called me and even said she felt like a stalker chasing me. It wasn't untill she showed anger untill I started calling her a little and msging her, etc.

She craves attention, and I guess in a way i do too. I'm VERY outgoing, loud, and funny but i guess she kinda takes over since she's a girl, pretty and is loud/funny too.

If she were to talk and w/e with other guys half the night which she does, and then is over me or w/e..or atleast shwoing a diffrence between talking to me and other guys i'm not jealous. I'm jealous when she just basically doens't talk to me. And she is the one who wanted and flatout said she wanted to be going out when i mentioned just "hooking up".

Oh well, i'll take the advice i was give thus far and just stop overanalyzing and to relax..

I guess it's b/c this is really my first GIRLFREIND by title. i've only in the past been "hooking up" with girls and usual it being new ones
