I have recently come to realize one of my main sticking points with women. I've been at this for a while and while there have been some minor victories, it seems something always goes wrong and everything evaporates just like that. Sure, there are times where I wasn't smooth or things simply didn't work out, but then you have instances such as a fluke September blizzard ruining plans, a HB getting food poisoning after dinner right before we were going to get busy, a HB seeing her ex while we were on our 1st date and left to go with him, or a HB breaking up with me on Valentine's Day because "the holiday is overrated" (which it is, but to break up because of it)? Factor in the recent string of last-second flakes and other shenanigans and, no matter how confident I feel, I can't prevent myself from thinking something will inevitably go wrong. It almost always seems to. How do you get past this mental obstacle?
