Between work and lifting weights I feel like a dead man. My body is always soar, and I'm so tired. I try and get as much sleep as possible. I go to bed early, even take naps if I have to. But I still wake up feeling like ****. It's gotten so bad that everyone else is noticing it too. Everybody thinks I am going through a depression stage or something. They keep asking me what's wrong. I'm not depressed, I just have no energy at all. I am eating healthy. I am on a diet of eating a lot of protein and carbs and vegetables etc.. I'm a skinny dude trying to gain weight so I am lifting and eating right, but ever sense I started I feel like I have no energy at all. Am I doing something wrong or is there anything I can do to help this? This lack of energy gets me a little cranky, and it's at the point where I feel like I don't even have enough energy to hold a conversation. It feels like too much effort. I actually avoid talking to people now because it requires too much thought process and energy.. is there something wrong?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I read about this on another forum.

You might be overtraining and not eating enough calories or enough protein.

The state of being overtrained takes a long while to recover from its like your muscles are literally in shock.

Also if you are not gaining much muscle mass I believe the term for you is a hard gainer.

I'll try to find a link for you to this helpful bodybuiler guy's posts.

You could learn a lot from him. I'll edit it in here.

There's the link. The poster's name is Steve. Just look through his post history for a while and you should find something that could help you to train right and feel better.

Get outside, take deep breaths of fresh air for at least half an hour every day.

Damn Damn Damn. You're describing me like I were a while ago. I would recomend the following:

About your training.... if you're overtrained, you'll know. Feel like a zombie. It usually helps to take one or two weeks of from training to let your nervoussystem recover so you an pound away at hte eights again.

1) Do not sleep more than seven to eight hours a night. Too much sleep is just as bad as too litle sleep. I've personally experienced and experimented with this alot.

Five hours = feel like a wrek
Six hours = Generally tired throughout the day.
Nine hours = Low energy and *just not right*
Ten pluss hours = I can now sleep as long as I want. Total wreck.
Sevent to eight hours = just perfect. Energetic and good mood.

Nutrition is a big factor. Yes we all no about the calories and the proteins and the fats and the carbs and the fibers and the water. But what we don't talk enough about is the miro nutrition. The vitamins, the minerals, the tiny plant nutrients you get from veggies and fruit. You really need more micro nutrition. Either you eat loads of different veggies and fruits. Dark colored. All the colors of the rainbow. Or you could buy vitamin pills. However dont eat the wallmart kind. Those are synthetic and won't digest and get absorbed. Invest in quality natural suplyments like farmanex or herbalife vitamins. Also get loads of B vitamins. The extra b vitamins made a world of difference in my energy and mood.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
