I searched for it but couldn't find anything.
Been paying for this girl for the past 2 months or so. We were going to the movies and I told her that I got it THIS time as I took out my wallet. How can I get her to pay without seeming cheap? She knows I'm saving money for a snowboard, so I think I might work that it. Any good?

You have to lay the ground work early on. If you pay for everything for the first 2-3 months, then turn around and start asking her to pay her own way, she is going to think you are cheap. However, if you'd have made it clear from the beginning that she was to pay her own way, then she'd have accepted it.

Tell her you are attracted to "independent" women who take care of themselves. Have conversations with her about money and tell her that you think women are "equal" and you respect women who don't expect to be paid for.

Another thing to consider is that *in the girl's mind*, when you pay, she considers it a date. But if you make her pay her own way, she will either think you are cheap or that you want to LJBF her ("friends" usually pay separately).

You can counter the LJBF thing by making out with her/having sex with her, so she is clear that you are "dating" her.

When you pick her up for the date just tell her: "Hey Babe, I got it last time, it's your turn now." You've been paying for 2 months and it's bloody well time for her to pick up the tab! When I go out with a guy to the movies if he buys the tickets, I spring for the popcorn & sodas. He buys dinner one time, I get it the next. (sigh) Am I weird? Or are they just blood-sucking b!tches???

Like steed said. Now you got to do some damage control.

Just become poor.

Take her out for dates that cost nothing. When she wants to go to a movie, just tell her you don't have any money. Same for dinner, etc. If she wants to be with you, then she'll start coughing up some money...If she doesn't...that's your next post...

Don't be a total cheapscape...she'll dump you...
