"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Okay, I've got a problem.

My insane (and I do mean that) ex girlfriend has made it her mission to try and make my life miserable, mainly by making crap up about me and telling it to my friends. Most of them don't believe her, but some do.

Mainly I think she's bitter that I broke up with her - she had major attachment problems, and I must have told her 50 times that I wanted space in a relationship.

I'm leaving for university in less than a month, so I don't really have to worry about it long term, but it sure as hell is annoying in the short term.

What should I do?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Well that's the thing, I've been trying that ever since I dumped her (it's been a couple months) but the more time that goes on, the worse she seems to get.

I guess as long as I show that I'm not willing to descend to her level, it'll be alright.

I wouldn't be too worried about her unless it gets to the point where it seriously interferes with your personal life or there is possible physical harm to you or anyone else you know.
