To come up with exciting dates for cheap, that are not cheesy. You have to come up with date ideas, your lady of interest has never done before and it has to be fun to her. You ask, "What kind of exciting date is also cheap? Sounds almost impossible, Tre." Think of what you have never done before and most likely, your woman has never done it before either. If you two are around the same age. Unless you are a hermit.
An exciting date you, yourself have never done. Is taking your girl on a date to cultural event that you are not accustomed to. As in a cultural event created by another race than your own. If you go to a Chinese cultural event, what might you see there? Meals or food you have never seen, or tried before. Have you ever eaten scorpion? The insect? I know that sounds gross, but who knew people eat scorpions. Where in the world to go in Walmart to buy scorpion? Right, you can't. That's why it's an exciting date. Because your lady is going to see things, she never knew existed and she will never forget the date.
Another idea, those hole in the wall restaurants that we all just drive past and never give them a second thought. If you do your research, you can find places that are a hole in the wall and have excellent ratings. You should definitely check those places out with your date.
Another idea, you and your date, dressing up as people from another culture (not race, but culture) and going undercover to see how other people have fun. If you are not a nerd (if you are, not a problem). You and your date should dress up as people from nerd culture and go to a nerd event or party. And see how they have fun. The different ways of thinking and how people interact with you, will surprise you. Yes, its the cliche, it's like an adventure into the unknown.
The last idea I'll give, and this will sound goofy. But I think it will spark your imagination. Everyone likes drinking and a lot of people like basketball. So, put the two together and you get drunk basketball. Play one on one drunk basketball with your date. She will never forget the experience. She has never done anything like that before.
