"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

So I am going out this thursday or friday with a gal for a cup of coffee. I am wondering what should the topics be about, what would be good jokes that would make her laugh her a ss out, and how should I close the date (ex. with a kiss, hand touch and should I make any insinuation/invitation back to my apt). Thank you very much for your attention!

What do you mean by "close the deal?" What are you attempting to achieve?

Venue change...coffee dates always suck...after coffee do a quick venue change someplace else...then another, get her to think of you in various settings..

Don't go with just jokes...think of funny stories...stories tell something about you at the same time..
