"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Atom Smasher, as I said I like to use the "take up space" body language. But I try to stay away from ideas like controlling space and time. Seems a bit too gimmicky for me, because no one actually controls space and time.

I think that when guys in their 20s think about confidence, they're more likely to use an exaggerrated effect like swagger, instead of "lack of tension" (which is probably more authentic).

Lots of people especially as teenagers and early 20's aren't really confident, yet they are able to attract the opposite sex and have plenty of sexual experiences. On the flipside, a lot of guys in their teens and early 20's pumped with testosterone and a hard on are confident by any measure but never have success because I'd argue that their non-verbals aren't very good.
Speaking of testosterone: as I said, when I was in my 20s I wasn't really all that confident. Thing is, with all those hormones, I was so horny I really didn't give a damn. I was going to try one way or the other lol.

As for intimidation, I do know some guys who can and do impose their will on other men. It's a combination of size and skill, I suppose. I remember one guy did something, I don't remember what, and this "alpha type" we'll call him (for lack of a better word) went over to him and made him "apologize to the ladies".

Now I'm not saying that's a desireable behavior, I was a little uncomfortable watching him humiliate the guy. But whether he was insecure inside or not, you could just feel the girls' panties getting wet when he was doing it.

It was the way he used his intimidating presence to control another man while mixing it with gentlemanly politeness to the "ladies". It's not so much about whether or not he's really insecure, it's will the girls feel safe when they're with him?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
