This is a very, very simple procedure. You will have immediate clarity by the end of this weekend.
Step 1. By this sunday evening, go out 3x to the most popular venues in your area: restaurants, bars, lounges, clubs, etc. wherever there are attractive women, and wherever mingling in a large general area is possible and commonplace. Seated dining does not count.
Step 2: spend 1-2 hours at each location when they are busiest. Sit, or preferably stand in a busy area.
Step 3: during these peak weekend hours, approach 3-4 women or groups with women at each location. How many are receptive? If any of these women mentions a fun activity of any kind you find remotely interesting, GO FOR THE NUMBER. If your intuition says she is interested, get her number.
Step 4: take note of how many women have shown CLEAR unambiguous signs of interest whether or not you approached them. No overlap between steps 3 and 4. This can include staring, conversation, or any 'unnecessary' physical contact. If you are unsure, don't count them or count them as 50%. It doesn't matter.
Step 5: in at least one, but preferably ALL of the locations, wait until CLOSING. Now, again, attempt at least one approach, and/or take note of any women who show clear signs of interest. Unless they give clear signs of disinterest, stick around and continue talking to them. It should be reasonably clear what steps to take from this point on. I won't elaborate since you know what they are already. If you don't, it wouldn't matter anyway.
On Monday, assess. You have spent approximately 6 hours during the peak hours at the most popular venues.
1. how many women showed relatively clear signs of interest? For most men, the number will be zero, or close to it. After all, these are cold approach situations. The higher the number, the better obviously.
2. how many phone numbers did you get? Within reason, assuming you were not simply going for numbers but getting contact info of interested women, the higher the better.
3. this is harder, and therefore there is more clarity. How many women were clearly receptive after closing hour? This is a very clear indication of how attractive you are and you should pay careful attention to it.
If the number in this case is routinely zero, you have your work cut out for you. Go see my thread on how to become more attractive.
If you are above average, you should be able to find perhaps one woman a month or more, who is willing to leave with you after closing. This does not guarantee sex. It might just be for another drink at an after hours club, or food at a diner. But in some percentage of cases, it will lead to sex. In an even smaller percentage of these cases it will lead to regular sex. A "girlfriend" if you want to call it that.
If you want clarity, if you want truth, then make an actual effort to meet women. Use the extremely simple step by step plan above. I do not guarantee success, this is only a method which will give you a clear assessment of where you stand in the dating game right now. It's a first step and you can always improve.
