"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

So this girl i liked i messaged a her a few times nothing special.

after a year i started writing to her again and i liked her at this point. But she had a bf and was writing not so much and acting disinterested. Once her bf moved abroad we started speaking every day etc and i ended up being her gay best friend listening to her problems and being nice. She knew at thispoint i liked her and i told her this and that i wanted her to break up with her bf. she said she understood cos she was in a similar position once.

I was hoping theyd break up and then we cud hook up. but wen they broke up finally she started sleeping with other guys for her ego and to make her feel good.

How do i become those guys? she knew they were using her for one thing and she didnt mind or have a go at them. and wen i used to speak to her wen she had a bf she used to say things like that i just wanted to sleep with her and that if she came to stay at mine i wud try to take her clothes off and take advantage. How am i different to these guys?!

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

OK so you brought this on yourself and there is a zero percent chance you can turn it around with this girl. But - you can learn from this and now in the future you won't make these mistakes.

Some quick tips on what you did wrong:

-Never be available all of the time for a chick. If she starts complaining about her BF, just say "i dont want to hear about that - lets talk about you". You are not her friend you want to fvck her.

-Never demand she break up with her BF. It will happen at some point anyway.

-When she does break up and you hear about it, call her up and ask her out. Not to hang out. OUT ON A DATE. If she makes an excuse, DO NOT TALK TO HER. You don't want to be her friend.

-You need to start talking to OTHER women. That way when one of them acts like this, you don't care because you are too busy with the other girls.

ok. But i have a couple of questions.
You say never be available but she and her bf used to write all teh time to each other before they met and got together and even the guys she was ****ing after they broke up she used to write them every day. they were available.

also if she liked me she wudnt be talking to me like this would she? why did she decide to make me her gay best friend and not these other guys or even her ex bf wen they first started to talk?!!

Just keep it sexual man, don't act like their friend. Next her before she friends you dude and keep it moving. By not giving girls your attention you keep the LJBF monster at bay and you stay a challenge to them. This is where you want to be, the unattainable challenging man.

The last thing you ever want to do to a woman is to try and see eye to eye with her. Women are not wired like men are, with a man you have a friend because you share the same opinions and common interests. With a woman you have just been figured out, no longer a challenge and swiftly friended due to being understood therefore boring.

Don't be understood!

I'm not saying be totally unavailable. I'm saying just don't be available all of the time. Take a while to respond to her texts. Ignore her sometimes.

That's what the guys that banged her did.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

^^Follow this and use the gift of jealousy . if she gets jealous when she see you with other girl there is a hope if she don't move on and don't make the same mistakes next time.
good luck !

The problem you made was not being forward or assertive enough. She was basically saying you just wanted to take advantage of her and have sex (via friendly tone) - whereas the other guys just DID, and she was totally up for it. That's the difference. She was saying to you - and doing to them.

She already knew you, and probably viewed you as safe and unsexual. So, as you were talking - she said you just wanted to have sex with her, or whatever. Whereas, the other guys likely charmed, seduced, flirted, and escalated sexually. She didn't say **** - because they just went for it, and didn't act friendly. Sweeping her off her feet, if you will. She knew what was up, and how to define them. And she was totally up for it - probably not even thinking about it at the time. They were viewed as sexual, aggressive beings - and you weren't.

You have to advance through actions, and set the sexual tone early. Then play the game from there. There's a difference between being friends and lovers. Quite a big one, actually. Being confident, assertive, sexual, and NON-friendly has a lot to do with it. You have to just go for it, and present yourself as dating material - not talk, act friendly, listen, remain passive and attentive, always being available, the shoulder to cry on, whatever. That's how FRIENDS act. And people generally treat you as they view you (based on your behaviors).

Acting like a friend for 3 years (as an example) while they're dating someone else isn't going land you in the romantic zone once they break up. Quite the opposite. You'll STILL be viewed as a good friend (as you were behaving), and be passed up in favor of a complete stranger. Happens all the time - hence the "nice guy" whining that goes on everywhere.

DON'T ACT LIKE A GOOD FRIEND. A distant, casual one, sure. But don't be the super-close confidant, or focus on them - while they're dating someone else, and having them SAY you just want to have sex, or whatever. Bad, bad idea, and not where you want to be. And that's an indirect friend-zone rejection, anyway. They should be horny and intrigued, and WANTING sex, and viewing you in such a manner.

But the big thing you'll notice is that her words don't match her actions. She said she knew the ex for however long before dating him; you pretty much followed suit, thinking it's what she wanted; she said you just wanted sex, you held back; she went and had just sex with other random guys.

See the LACK of connection, here? It doesn't add up, and contradicts itself both times, because it's all crap. Words mean nothing, and it's especially bad if you hear them through friendly conversation. Never base your behaviors around their words, or you'll end up confused and disappointed (and possibly heart-broken) when they don't match their actions (ie, all the time). And this **** is very common (again, nice guy whining). They say one thing, and do another. And you're left wondering WTF is going on.

Don't assume these guys are just using her, and she's having her fun. She's dating around, sleeping with these guys, and will end up getting involved with one of them. This is common ****. You're FZ'd, and she's doing her thing, and passing you by as a non romantic prospect. Just like when they say they're confused, afraid, not ready, or not looking. They're not "waiting" or holding out for you before they settle down. These guys they date aren't strangers, and you're the one they're waiting for - because they know you so well, and can trust you, and blah blah. In fact, that's why they AREN'T attracted to you, and date all these other guys instead. You're just a good friend. While you sit here waiting - she's going to keep dating other people forever, and end up getting involved with some of them. That's how it works. The only one waiting or stopping is YOU.

The entire tone of the relationship should be sexual in nature. Not that it can't be friendly as well, but there should be sexual inneundo's and hints of what they want you to do to them, flirting and touching, teasing and complimenting, wanting to see you in a romantic sense (ie, missing you)... You can just tell when someone is interested in a romantic relationship, or that you are in one. And, when you aren't. None of this wondering, mixed messages, looking for tell tale signs, and making things bigger than they are bull****. You'll know.
