"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

How should I think about this?

I met a chick in salsa class, we chatted while walking to the underground together for 15 mins. Good vibe there, she touch my chest when we say goodbye. But I ***** out and didn't ask for her number.

The last class is next week, but I already booked a ticket to holiday. And she is off to backpack for a month, so chance are we will never see each other again if I don't catch her next week.

My question is should I rebook my flight , cost USD 30, so I can go and ask for her number or should I just let it go?

Nothing is guaranteed in life. And certainly not when I don't even know how she feel about this but she does initially appear tick most boxes of what I am looking for.

Would rebooking means I placed too much value on her before even get her number and seen as "non alpha" ? Not that she will know, but more about my mindset.

Any guidance appreciated.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

OK, I decided to rebook my flight.

Reason being: Rejection is fine, pus*y out is not. Gotta go back and fix it!

I am totally fine if she say no or things never work out -- no expection.

Honestly bro if it was me I wouldn'the have changed any plans over a girl. I think it'should important to work towards having a lot of options in my life when single and not to put too much weight into any of them. Certainly not change travel plans because of one of them.

Totally agree with you, yuppaz.

Change of travel plan have more to with fixing my fault of thinking "I can pus*y out of asking her phone number" rather than "she is too good to be missed"

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I'm with yuppaz, you shouldn't change your plans for a girl you've never even gone out with.
You already pus*yed out the first time. Just learn the lesson and go on.

dude, **** it. maybe she's the one for you. I want to hear if you pull the phone number or not.

you shouldn't change your plans for a girl, but if you already did, go with it and come back a proud man. rejection is definitely better than regret.

So today is the day. Umm. I dont know what to say, the books and forums have given me the knowledge and I just fuxk up the execution... so here is the story.

All these pre thinking got me a bit panicky and I guess this kinda show in my vibe. Had a great dance class and was going to wait till the end to get her digit, so it won't be awkward if she say no. Somehow she is with her friends all the way after class and kinda avoided me.

I guess the moment was blow last week and we kinda end there.

I am annoyed as my inaction last week make this opportunity get away. And now I have to deal with the regret. If I were to ask her number, gone in for a kiss or whatever, still better then what I have now.

With all the knowledge from this forum.. I should have done a better job last or this week. Guess knowledge can't replace field experience.. think this is the first digit I tried to get in 2 years...I was in monk mode character building e.g. acting class for upping confident, talking skill and bodybuilding etc. Anyhow, I feel that my attractiveness so call have increase, just can't close the deal.

Now. Questions to the wonderful people on this forum are:
1) ways to let me forgive my own mistake
2) how to never repeat this

1) go to your travel and have fun, try to have a quick date if possible, ask a local girl to show you around.

2) you learn, and move on, take this as experience, remembr tehre is no loss or you get what you want or get experience on doing it

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

This just goes to show there is something to the principle at least of the three second rule. Once you blow the initial opportunity, it gives you more time to think about it, and it seems like it becomes even more awkward and difficult to act spontaneous and execute properly. Which is one reason I said oh well, learn your lesson and better luck next time.

Realize it's just a numbers game, nothing more. Don't let any of your attempts get to you. This is tough I know.
I thought I did the right thing last year by being quick like you think you should have been, but it still turned out badly, because there were others present in a group.

So you can be quicker on the draw next time and it still might not work. Don't be down on yourself.

I cracked my friend up a while back by comparing hitting up women to burning the trash. You put the trash in the burner, the wind seems to be coming from the right direction to not stink out the house. Then throw in the match, and watch the fvcking wind switch direction instantly, and get bitched out back in the house by your gal.
Sometimes that's just how it goes. Keep your chin up.
