"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Here's one for you all which I'm not sure what to do exactly and would like some advice.

Met a girl and hit it off with her over a 6-8 month period but mutually broke up because of a 15,000km distance between us. During this time, we spoke everyday and saw each other twice for extended periods of time. There was never any fighting or arguements and the sexual chemistry was very high. We're both clearly compatible with each other.

We both acknowledged that if we were closer then we would be together, things would he very different. The problem stopping us from being together the distance, im doing my masters in my country and she is moving even further to Europe to improve her language studies and travel, something she has wanted to do for years.

Do I keep contact with this woman or do I just keep doing my thing and wait for her to contact me? It has been approx a month with very limited contact and about two weeks solid no contact from either party. When we have spoken, the sexual chemistry is still there.

I don't want to keep regular contact and end up being friend zoned. I don't see her like that, I see her as a partner and that's it.

How should I play this one?

Happy to hear you had nice sex, that is actually rare to find, good sexual chemistry, but here;s the thing: don't you think this girl is showing you, through her actions, what is most important to her right now? I mean, she can come closer to you, but she's choosing, freely, to move even further away from you. That should tell you something.

Long distance relationships never work. You need to just split up. Date other chicks and she should date other dudes. If after she is done with her world travels and language studies, and she moves close to you... just go ahead and pick things up. When you are apart you are done, until you are back together again...

Don't sit around pining for this chick when it is very likely she's on the c0ck carousel in Europe.

While the distance is in the way.....it's DEAD. It no longer exists. You were with each other for 6-8 months. It's done now.

Draw a line in the sand and move. You need to make sure that you are pursuing other options.

The worst thing you could ever do in a situation like this is promise a girl your exclusivity while living the delusion of having a relationship at distance. The chances of it working out badly are extremely high and you'll regret it for years. It's something that would burn inside you for a long time. Get it into your head now: To wait on someone at a distance is a cruel self inflicted prison which denies you experiences in the present moment....the only time you can experience. The only moment you are alive.

Let it go and move on.
