"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

The past couple days I went on a school field trip. I met up with a girl (HB9) who was already reallllyyy into me. The first night we're in my hotel room and she has no shirt on :)cool:), but long story short an AFC who was digging her breaks it up :)mad:).

I then go talk to a girl friend (notice the space) of mine and tell her to keep the AFC off my back for a bit. Another long story short, I end up mentioning that the girl didn't have a shirt on.

So the next day the ***** who I told turns out to be a gossip *****. She tells everyone and word gets back to the HB. Now this is where it gets fuzzy. Stories from everyone but the girl say that, when confronted about it, HB first said that I ripped her shirt off her without her consent and then later on that her shirt was never off. She really hasn't told me her side of the story.

Now theres a rumor going around that I practically raped the girl. I set **** straight with everyone that she was most certainly willing. I still wanted to hook up with the HB, so now I'm trying to settle **** with her. I talk to her and she says its not a big deal, but is just generally seems to be a lot more closed towards me.

We've now gone home from the field trip, and odds are that I will never see the girl again IRL. She'll still stay in contact with my group of friends online and phone and stuff, so it's not like we're completely seperate.

How would you guys have handled this? Like I said, I really wanted to hook up with her. However I wasn't going to get on my knees and beg for forgiveness. Ideas?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Seriously... if it's someone you would never see again in your lifetime.. Deny everything if it's all dirt on ya back.

Or just turn it around into a kick ass story to tell your friends.

fock her man, if she is the kind of bich that tries to accuse you of trying to rape her, forget about the bich you wuss boy, havent your read the tips in the hall of fame?? she has no respect for you- MOVE ON MAN!!, forget about it, tell all your friends that bich lied, or just turn in back on her, say she is a sluu,t and she tried to get you. Anyway you had nothing to lose, you saw her half naked, you could use this as a pay back, send her a message, saying your breasts are small and saggy. You know the deal, if she is a bich treat her like one.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
