Im just curious to know how much time people spend on diffrent activites, or in other words how people spend thier free time, and how much hanging/chilling out people do with guys and girls.
I usually see my friends maybe twice a week, for about 4-5 hours each time. I hang out with one friend at a time, I have two good friends.
I also have a group of five friends whom I see maybe once or twice every two weeks. The five guys are in a clique.
Maybe two weekends out of the four in a month I will come home late at around 3:00am. I dont go clubbing, its usually a late night at the movies, or my friends house or an occasional night out to drink or play pool.
I spend about an average of four hours in college every weekday.
-In college I spend most of my time in class, or either with a friend (1 or 2 guys aquintences only) to kill the free period time till my next class. Then after class is over I go home.
When I am not in college, and its not a weekend I usually spend time indoors at home.
So on most weekdays after college is done, I go home, and I watch tv, eat and then study, then sleep. I dont workout.
On most weekends, I will usually go out once on either friday, saturday or sunday, with my really close friends, I have two good friends, to either their house or maybe a movie, pool, or drink in their car on the side of the road.
I dont hang out with girls on a regular basis, I dont have any friends who are girls or dates for that matter.
Maybe in a Semester of College I'll hang out maybe five or six times with about two diffrent girls. Like after class, I've gotten to know some guys, when they go to eat at the local shop, some girls also go, So I tag along and get to hangout with girls.
I dont hangout with girls alone most of the time, maybe once a semester.
I usually have about two-four dates a year, only started dating at 18, so Ive been on about six dates, but I did have a gf for four months.
I dont sarge, or spend alot of time talking to girls, I dont have a large circle of friends so Im not introduced to girls either.

I feel like I dont socialize enough or have enough going on in my life, I feel like Im wasting time by being alone and not taking advantage of my youth like I could be doing more and having more fun and enjoying life with other people's company, im 19 and I live in NYC.
Do I have a Valid reason to feel that way?
I think I do, but my parents say that I hang out enough already.
The thing which I THINK holds me back is my anxiety around other people, I get nervous really fast and in quite safe places or situations ie. standing in line at the cafeteria in college, or walking across a slient classroom with lots of kids, the fear of being judged the wrong way, forget about saying Hi to a girl. I also think that I have a lower self esteem than the peer's around me, They always hold themselves up high but I always looks for ways to cut myself down. So its anxiety and a problem with self esteem which I feel is holding me back from me socializing more.
