"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

How much should 1st date cost and where are best places to take them?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I would do a coffee date. They are cheap. You can chat and see if there is a connection. I spent $5 on a coffee date a few weeks ago and took the girl home and got an excellent BJ.

If you don't want to do coffee try an action date like bowling. Anything action oriented. Don't do dinner. Don't spend a lot on the first few dates. Go for a walk etc. You don't want to spend a bunch on a ho that is just looking for free entertainment and will blow you off the next time.

Some Place Where You Can Bond

The date should cost no more than $40 and it should take place some where you can get to know the chick and find out what she finds romantic. I'd suggest Subways, Starbucks, or Cold Stone Creamery.

It's not about how much the first date cost, it's about the experience. I've had first dates be a picnic in the park, or a walk through a mall/book store. That first "date" is really a "get to know you better" date. The 2nd date... even then, it doesn't have to be a lot of money. Comedy shows in many areas are free. So are walks on the beach, anything sight-seeing related (i.e. museums, hikes), going to a bingo night (you laugh, but I've done this and the girl I was with was giddy when she won twice in a row)... focus more on creativity and bonding activities vs. cost.

I agree, there are plenty of extremely cheap or free things you can do that are tons of fun, however I think having a rough idea of how much you should be spending is still useful. I make about 70k a year and I spend ~$50 on the first date. Most of that is near the end of the night around 9-10pm for a dinner and drinks at a cheap but fun and unique restaurant assuming she was fun and I was into her. Also, I make her buy her own coffee at the beginning of the date haha.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
