Annual global pornography revenue = $97 billion

Total = $283 billion.

Let's compare that to other industries...

So apparently, it's the most valuable thing in the world other than oil.

Correction = I just looked up global revenue for illegal drug sales, and it's between $360 - $400 billion.

So that's #2.

Correction #2 = global military expenditures are $1 trillion/year.

And I didn't look at services like healthcare, etc.

A few years ago I was at a political fundraiser in my area for a guy who is pretty well known in my area. People here know his name, but he's not like nationally famous or anything. But I would call this guy rich, elite, and powerful. He had had a few drinks and got up to speak. Prolly were a good few hundred people in the room. He said "The world is controlled by two things, money and SEX. I mean lets face it, who doesn't like either one". There are a lot of men that don't have the commodities women want, or are too lazy to bother, but still have money. These men turn to prostitutes.

Basically as long as there are men who don't have physique, frame, confidence and personality there will be a thriving sex industry.

For me, sex is not worth any money at all. I don't even understand the point of paying for it. Why would I want to give a woman money to tell me I'm a big boy and I turn her on?
