"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

How much interest translates to a date?

I've just gotten her number and acceptance to homecoming.
That was this Friday.
She seems like she has interest. She does not recoil from my kino, I pretty sure she has not given any back. Her response to my request was along the lines of "Ummm, SURE," not great but not really that hesitant. Unfortunately we do not have much time to talk. I see her every other day, but not for long.
I would like some advice for my next direction.

How much interest does her acceptance of a dance request mean?
How should you act on it? (ie, calling her tonight[for date maybe], two days from when I got her number)
Should you wait before setting up something and try to create more interest?
Thanks.

PS: She would be my first official; I am VERY new to this. She is an HB7-8 but I am not worrying about that

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

call her, there's nothing to lose. if she doesn't like like you than you can just say you're calling as a friend, if she does like u than u can ask her to go bowling or something, don't go to the movies because than you're eliminating chance for talking, unless she says something like, wanna go to the movies.... and not watch the movie and if u no she likes u a lot than u can say that to her

When I do call her and if a date is set, I will still see her twice this week before the date.
Should I act normal or a little scarcer then usual?
Also will the phone call catch her off guard? My advantage or no?

Act normal.

One thing that bugs me is when a guy gets the girl's interest, and all of a sudden thinks he needs to start changing what he's doing. Do what you did in the first place? I think so.

If her being a "HB7-8" didn't matter, you wouldn't have mentioned it.

I guess I mentioned because as my first, I have no reference point. I understand why you see some hesitation.

I will act normal on the phone
Should I set up a date with out calling it one?
Or
Should I express my interest in her on the phone?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Way to edit your post.

A girl knows when it's a date. No need to call it one.
You generally don't "express your interest". Just listen, talk, kino, flirt, push/pull etc.

Call whenever the hell you feel like it. Have something to talk about though and keep the conversation relatively brief. When the conversation hits the high point (both of you are joking, talking non stop, etc) then tell her you've got to go. Leaving on the high point makes her want more.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
