Hi, this is my first time post (long time lurker). And I think that it's got a lot in common with this "How To Replace Your Girlfriend's Girlfriends and "Benevolent Isolation" post.

Well my problem is that I was seeing this Girl for a couple of months, she's had a huge amount of interest level and been all over me and all of the rest of it. Though the thing is, is that every time she's seen this one friend in particular, she acts like a different person towards me afterwards, i.e. almost zero attention, foul mood etc. It's almost like she can manipulate her mind.

Now this friend is the type who goes out binge drinking, acts like a slvt, and the girl that I was seeing says that even her other girlfriends can't understand why she's friends with her.

Now, last night received a call from her saying that she no longer wants to see me. Fine - I'll just swiftly move on and get another one. But she was out last night with this friend and I can't help but think that she's influenced her decision. What I do for a living is high status, and high paying, and I can't help but think that this friend has been jealous of her.

Don't worry Guy's, I'm not going to call her and try to get an explanation from her I just wanted to see if you think if my theory is correct.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

It was you not her. If she really wanted you she would not have let a friend influence her decision. The only possiable exception is if she dated some crazy psycho guy who beat her and her friend reminds her of that daily.

Do you really want to be involved with someone whose emotions are so up and down. One day she is loving the next distant. She goes out binge drinking with her girlfriends from time to time then spends time with you. So 1-2 days per week she is hooking up with others then maybe 1 day with you.

They are all crazy it is just to what degree she is. I bet if you do not call her, write her or make it seem like you care she will call you in a few weeks. Sleep with her one time and then tell her you do not want to see her again..

Thanks for the reply, and that course of action you suggest sounds like the one I had in mind.
