"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

People here seem to be divided into two camps: Those who think any kind of desire (even if it's a want and not a need) for a LTR is a sign of a problem, and those who don't.

Maybe some people can be fully satisfied in life without a long term relationship with someone they love but I don't think most people are wired that way and I personally don't think there is anything wrong with wanting it, as long as it's a want not a need and as long as you understand what you should and should not be getting out of it.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Yeah I’ve often wondered this myself too. I know one dude basically turned his girlfriend bisexual and changed it to an open relationship, though his username slips my mind... @Atom Smasher found a diamond among a sea of glass after several decades and @Desdinova has a girl he likes too. He says that she is below him in looks but pursued him for two years and never ever gave him a hard time and pretty much gives him whatever he wants if I recall correctly. I wonder how those two guys’ relationships are holding up.
Better than ever. 2 years and zero drama, zero sh!t tests.

Yeah it definitely takes a very special kind of someone to not give a **** about this type of thing at all. Those people are far and few in between though, and a lot of times they’be got some weird quirks about them, or you can just tell that they’re different from the rest. Take RichardTheFrog for example.

Most actually understimate actually doing things together and team work . There is no shortage of "me" people this day and age .
VERY true. And this is why relationships don’t work anymore. Way long ago, people would get married and you would become the right people for each other. This was more possible then too because people got married at a younger age, and younger people still have their personalities developing. Plus they went through puberty later than people today do so it’s just amplified.

People would get married and then they would just grow to like each other. Then you’d get those small few who went absolutely mad over each other, and those are obviously the only stories that people talk about really. But those are the stories that got sensationalized by mainstream media and that caused people to seek that out for themselves and they soon came to EXPECT that out of all their relationships, they thought that those types of relationships were the norm. So when something small happened, they just decided to leave the relationship and not try to work things out, not try to solve any problems, not try to find out what issues THEY have or where THEY ****ed up, they dont care to do any internal work at all because hey, there’s still one person out there who’s right for them, right?. What they didn’t realize is that EVERYONE is becoming like that. And as more and more people do, the less likely you are to find a great individual. Not only that, but even if you do find a diamond in the rough, that person may be right for you, but you might not be right for them, because you chose not to do the internal work that they did (not you specifically, I’m just saying it in the broader sense). And that gives them every reason to reject you or to leave you. You shouldn’t have to ruin a person because you yourself are ruined.
