You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
It really depends on alot of things. If you squat, deadlift and do other compound exercises while eating alot of protein and moderatly with carb then you will grow pretty quick. The more muscles you stimulate when you work out, the more growth hormone will be released and the quicker you will grow as long as you get enough nutrition.Originally posted by whyshy
Well im 160, 6'1 or 6'2. How long do you guys think it will take me to gain 10 pounds of muscle if i work out 3 days a week?
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Hey man stop dicourgaging me. Yah it is different for everyone, my begininer gains where great. But persistence and hard work will take you anywhere no matter how long.Originally posted by MindOverMatter
The longer you workout, the harder it is to keep adding lean muscle mass.
prisoners and people in the military have access to protein supplements. If you need incidence of why protein is as necessary, check your local penitentiary or army. They eat what they're given. There's not a specific diet advocated, nor a specific protein amount. All I've ever heard are protein manufacturers touting high protein diets, done through athletes who are also on their pay role.
Protein and carbs and good fats (Udo's oil, or fish oils, EFA's) are the basic foundation of any nutritional program. But, you won't grow if your carb sources are low. Your system will be devoid of carbs in general to replace those burnt during a workout and seek the protein to fill in for it, so they won't go to the muscle, they'll go to replace the lost glycogen.
I could go on and on as I have about this, but there's no time line on how long muscle can be thrown on. Conservatively, it's 10 weeks, by eating an extra 500 or so per day based on lifting. But, genetics play a role, a very large role. If you're a noob, you could see some gains quickly, eating right and enough.
What's the rush for 10lbs? Even if it's 10 week, it likely won't be 100% muscle. If you're thin, and you sound thin for 6 feet, then any size will good.

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
we're talking muscle here, not fatOriginally posted by ScrewIt
Ill be frank it took me about 2 - 3 months to gain that in the past.
No sh!t, main reason I think skinnyguy.net is a joke.Alot of people will argue that they gained 40 pounds in a year. They don't realize that 35 of it is fat and water

it's also a joke that people buy his book when everything he says is common sense to anybody that actually works out

Where's Manuva, I think we worked this one out .. 17 months, 8 days, 6 hours, 3 minutes and 42 seconds, but ONLY if you do concentration curls in a pink tutu, tricep kickbacks while counting backwards from a thousand in albanian, and INTENSE cable crossovers yelling "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" at the mid-point of each positive rep AND if you work out when the moon's full by the light of six dwarf-flavoured navy blue candles.Originally posted by whyshy

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
