How long before a woman would feel that she is pregnant?

My buddy was seeing this chick for a little while last year, and then he had to go away for a few months (military commitment.) Just recently he finished that, and went back to seeing her. It seems that within a rather short period of time (about 4 weeks), she began to feel that she might be pregnant, and indeed, has confirmed it within about 5 weeks. He's now going to maker his Mrs.

Does this sound plausible?

I've heard stories of women knowing shortly after intercourse (a few days). They just "seem to know." I'm not going to question it, just going to try to avoid it!

some women feel they are preggie right after and some dont even know until they miss two periods .
with my babies, it was always different.
with my oldest i thought i had the flu until i missed two periods. ( i was young)
with my second i have an ultrasound at two weeks .
with my third i knew the next morning .
with my last, i was ten weeks along when i found out and never missed a period.


i used to think it was "mothers intuition".
i no longer believe that.
i believe the stronger that babies soul is, ( or the stronger the will of the child )the faster they let themselves be known.

but thats my two cents.
