You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

The company I work for just sent this out. It is a program designed to advance women. I have no problems with that, but where is the program for men??? How is this not discrimination?

It is open to motivated women, for sharing experiences on leadership, career paths, work-life balance, for discussing job challenges and getting a better insight into company
Purpose:
- Identify the challenges regarding the advancement of females in the workplace
- Recommend projects or actions to take to remove or address identified challenges
- Provide an avenue to share experiences and provide advice
- Provide an opportunity to inform or educate participants of activities throughout the Group
- Act as ambassador of the Group to female and other minority groups both internally and outside

Team members should have 1-2 days per month to participate in project meetings, project work and other related activities. There could be domestic travel involved.
As part of the program the members will also have the opportunity to influence the content and continuation of the Group female network for future participants.
The goal is to select 15-20 team members who will have 1-2 days per month to participate in project meetings, project work and other related activities. Occasional domestic travel may be needed
Participants should be professional level females who have proven track records of performance and have a desire to grow within the organization.

“The 22 Rules That Turned Me From Invisible to Irresistible With Women… Starting Tonight”

You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.

I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.

Then I discovered 22 simple rules that rewired my entire dating life. The anxiety vanished. Conversations flowed effortlessly. Women started chasing me for a change.

These rules trigger a woman's subconscious attraction switches. And you can start using them tonight.

It is blatantly sexist. I am surprised that men are not filing suit that the hiring is based on gender.
Im surprised I even got the job I have now, 90% of the department is female... and I know people who were guys that have been turned down and were clearly better qualified than these women. Women - 1 , Men - 0

Unless they are providing the exact same opportunities for men at your work, then it's discrimination alright.

Are you in Australia? If you are, the Sex Discrimination Act 1984 is pretty clear on this.
I can point out the clause that you might want to show your HR department.

I agree that it sucks, but assuming you're in the US, I don't see anything the law can do for you.

However, if you put on a dress, claimed to be transgender, and then sued for them to let you into the program, that would be a slam-dunk of a case. You'd probably get your legal fees paid when you settle. If they fired you for the lawsuit or the cross-dressing, you'd also get back pay in the lawsuit, which can amount to a nice sum of money for you and your lawyer.

With nothing to lose, I could see how someone would do that for a larf. Honestly, I would like to see someone do it for a larf.

As far as I know the Equal Employment opportunity laws in the US clearly state it's unlawful to discriminate against anyone based on sex male or female. But in reality women are blatantly favored and even if a man files suit for discrimination, the courts almost always dismiss or rule against men no matter how clear cut and blatant the discrimination is. Also women often win discrimination cases when discrimination based on sex is not really supported.

The laws are a big joke and in practice women and non whites are favored and white males have zero protection and recourse against discrimination. Men don't even have equal protection under the law period and that's even un-Constitutional let alone contrary to the way "equal" opportunity laws are worded.

Have you ever tried filing a law suit in a similar case? You seem to base your desperation on hearsay.

Idiot. I have filed EEO claims and personally know other guys who have. If men could successful file claims against discrimination would female favoritism be so common?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Elaborate. You might have failed because of some reason other than "judges are corrupt".

Oh, and don't call me idiot ever again.

It is discrimination. However, there is an unwritten law that discrimination against men and non-minorities in general is acceptable when in favour of women and minorities.

Many of you here talk about "minorities", would you please explain me what you mean by that? Im asking since according to stats its whites to be numerically less in most of the areas of the world yet I've never heard on any quota for them anywhere.

Also how the hell women which are 50% of the population benefit from the minority status? not bashing americans at all but sometime it seems laws are written from retareds in there.

Anyway regarding OP, it seems anything which is public or corporate is anti-male in general, only option is to be the boss of yourself.

Canada, eh?
That's how liberal systems work. If you take RCMP hiring practices, you will find that they have a quota to fill in order to increase the number of women on the force. Not only women compete sorely with few other female applicants, they are also given the employment opportunity first before men, because they are "underrepresented". No one can even fight it, because of the ongoing harassment claims of current female Mounties on the job. What happens is that men who are more qualified than the women rcmp hire don't get a job offer as a result, because they are men and don't deserve a career.

Minority is a term of art for someone who isn't white.

It's an outdated term. I agree that it doesn't always make sense because whites aren't the majority everywhere.

I have no clue. My guess is the left uses this as one of their tools to secure the women (mostly white women) votes. Whether its job preferences, scholarships or free birth control, women are being bribed to vote left.

Elections are being won and lost largely by gender today.

Yeah.

Yeah the reason men fail with their cases is because they are males. Where did I say "judges are corrupt"? The system allows (encourages) for judges to dismiss and rule against males in discrimination cases. It is essentially corrupt but that's the system. You just don't get that the whole EEO, Affirmative Action system is preferential treatment for females and and non-white "minorities". It's not really to protect against discrimination based on race or sex, but to allow for discrimination against male whites.
