How hopeless can a guy be?

Do you think some guys are simply meant to never sleep with a woman no matter what he does? I know a guy can pay for it, but sting operations are everywhere and even if a guy pays half or more of his savings for a girl doesn't mean he won't want more (which he then cannot afford.) I have such **** social skills I might just kill myself in some absurd way, but some of you say that is a dumb reason for an heroing.

depends. slim people can get it very quick. fat people needs to perform a lot of cutting after getting abs on gym. i dont even have abs because i train at home and its hard to make abs without machines

Nah I don't buy all this "it's fate I can't get laid" bulls***. I don't buy "fate" as an overwhelming concept in general.

30% of stuff in life you can't control ("fate" if you must call it that). Like death from natural causes, accidents that aren't your fault, chronic illness (though even then you have some control - not smoking etc) and the actions of other people.

The other 70% is all down to your choices, how you act, how you think and how you convey yourself socially.

The whole "it's all fate/genetics" argument is the same rationalisation people use when they're trying to make excuses for doing something morally wrong. "Oh, life's basically fate anyway, I have no choices."

Your whole life is choices. Everything you do is your choice. You may have genetics or mental factors that make some options more attractive or natural to you, but it's totally up to you what you do with your actions.

I read a fascinating article recently about a psychiatrist studying psychopathy who realised he himself had many of the traits and genetic markers associated with psychopathy. He got a consultation with another professional and it turned out he really was a psychopath. He thought back to his last 2 marriages and realised it had been his own behaviour that had ruined the relationships...and then he said that he understood that he was "very selfish" by nature and it had never struck him before.

From then on, he says he tries to make every single decision as if he was "someone normal who has empathy". He is choosing to oppose his own genetically encoded lack of empathy with every decision he makes to try to be a better person.

TLDR: You have countless choices. Every time you choose to skip the gym, that's a choice. Every time you get angry with someone, that's a choice. Every time you hit on a girl, that's a choice.

This all depends on the environment. I find cold approach is awkward and autistic, so I almost never do it. When its with women in a social setting, yeah it fizzles out/nothing happens. Sometimes a girl will strike up a conversation or even flirt (or she comes off as flirting) but then she ignores me afterwards. I think its because I don't have the best response due to lack of experience. This past week was the first time I had asked a girl out in a long time and got her number. She didn't flake, its a long story, but it wound up not happening and I have a feeling she wound up with another dude.

As you know (because you have been here since 2005 ) it is a number game..so if I am out of an LTR (I do have LTR's sometimes if I am tired of plate spinning and if they are worth it).. I can cold approach 30 a week and online probably more but I am skilled at this I have been doing it a long time and have some secrets about my own personal game that I have tailored just too fit my personality (those secrets I will never tell )

To answer your question, no. No matter how unattractive you think you are, firstly you can improve how you look. Hell, a new outfit and a haircut might raise your score by a point immediately. Gym is important but takes longer. But secondly, there is a guy half as attractive as you getting laid somewhere. Now, are you going to be getting super models? No. People tend to stick within a range of attractiveness because that's how attraction works. But you can definitely get women "out of your league" if you commit to being the best guy you can be. If all you want to do is get laid, just find a girl who is as low in attractiveness as you think you can go. Maybe a bit overweight, maybe not the prettiest face. Find one who is a nice person. Someone you're attracted to but who's well within your league. You might be surprised at how fun that can be.

Your problem is not that you can't get laid, I've seen super average skinny nerds on the spectrum dating some girls I'd consider datable. It's that you have a mentality that the possible is impossible. As long as you continue to think that way, it will be true.
