How do the starts work... some threads have them others don't... I never could figure this one out...

So what constitutes why a thread should have starts? do mods make this happen? I know if you vote on a thread with no stars nothing happens.... so why do stars happen?
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

You rate a tip by choosing a star selection. After *some number* of votes, the stars appear. That is why some posts have them and some don't.
