How does my kiss test sound? + Any comments on how i'm going?

THIS IS QUITE LONG, SO SKIP TO THE BOTTOM IF YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE COMMENTING ON MY STORY AND JUST HEARING MY PLANNED KISS TEST....

Ok, background; I've known this girl for over a year now, nothing has happened between us in that time.

For the first 6 months or so of knowing her I was major AFC, and if she was intrested upon meeting me, she was no longer haha.

Pretty much for the whole year though we have been talking ont he phone a lot, which, I know, is bad, but I am NOT her ***** at all, she is just that kind of person who. She complains all the time that I don't call her very much, and she does all the work, but in the end she just keeps on calling all the time, so it's all good.

Whenever we would go somewhere together (in a group or alone or whatever) there would be none or minor kino, or she would sit on the opposite side of the lounge etc... Red flag galore.

2 Months ago, I had a party at my place, she came over at some point to my vauge recolection, there was some dancing, drunken kino on my part, then me, her and 2 others ended up sleeping in my paren't bed (quite large). There was a lot of kino going on, legs interlocked (facing each other) and minor hand holding, next morning I said something which she didn't like (which I don't find out until a couple of weeks ago, and still dont know what I said) and she leaves a little bit later, feels like a step backwards.

MORE IMPORTANT PART

Yesterday, we wen't shopping for a couple of bean bags, then came back to my place for a movie.

Plenty of kino going on while me her and my sister were watching tv (in my room) while waiting for dinner to be cooked, her legs over mine, she was poking me etc...

Anyway, we go back to mine after dinner, lights out and slap in the movie. Straight away we are lying real close, hand holding straight away, and I softly rub her leg.

All the way through the movie the kino escalates, but she always sorta put her headon my shoulder, or below my head so I could never get a clear way to kiss her. Part way through her dad calls her and gives her a bit of a go for not being home studying which was a bit of a kicker.

A little further on, in an awkward spot for me to make a move, after a bit she goes "i could just fall asleep right here"... ? What the hell does that mean?

5 Minutes later or so she has to go, so we get up and I drive her home.

She msgs me bout 15 minutes later bout how her dad wasn't angry at all and thanks me for havin her over; Then she calls me about an hour after that and we talk for a couple of hours (Good convo but I really held for too long, and for the first time in a long time SHE ended it)

KISS TEST PART

Ok, on the phone she mentioned her younger sister had kissed more guys than her (She is 17, her sister isn't even 15 yet); So I sorta set myself up by saying "So is it a competition now" and she plays along and says yes.

So the plan is I take her out one night in a few days to get some ice cream (which I will get her to buy me... She gave me this huge stack of cards with little things on them like "free icecream" and other silly things like that, but anyway).

Then after the ice cream, go for a walk along a pathway just above the beach. Then, sit down, talk for a bit, really push the eye contact, then pull out something like this...

Me: So how is you and hannah's boy kissing competition going? Still losing?
Her: Yep
Me: Want me to help you catch up a bit?
Her: Oh take me now! (ok, im dreaming now)
*kiss*

Hannah is her sister p.s.

I don't really need the kiss test, since from what I have mentioned above, I think it's pretty obvious that she likes me...

It just has me confused that she wasn't so open to be kissed at my house. Maybe I am just trying to push too quickly, since we have known each other for so long with nothing happening, and she is only 17... Is her actions normal?

So how does my test sound? Any rewording? I just wanna make it fun, and take the pressure off before I move in.

heres the thing about kissing... you either kiss them, get kissed by them, kiss at the same time, or dont get kissed at all.

you can not plan a kiss. try if you must, however people are full of different reactions to kisses.
you might not come up with enough reactions that someone else will have to a kiss to plan a response.

therefore, you must just kiss her and get it over with a live with whatever reaction you get.

I'm a little confused by your reply... I'm not trying to do anything with her reaction...

I plan on kissing her. How is my situation any different to someone who does the traditional hair behind the ear test, or anything like that?

Heres something that I read that works well.

Just say, "Do you want to kiss me?"

If she says yes: Kiss her
If she says maybe: say, "lets find out" and kiss her
If she says no: say, "I never said you could, it just looked like you had something on your mind"

I just feel that I couldn't pull that off smoothly... It just isn't me...

Ah well, who needs a test anyway.

I think the best lesson anyone can possibly learn is that regret hurts twice as much as rejection.

Talk about the kiss competition, then spontaneously kiss her. Then after a bit, say something like "So how far away are you from winning yet?"
