how does cold reading work?

Cold reading is telling a woman about herself without her thinking you
have any “prior knowledge” about her.

swinggcat is someone i admire a lot because his stuffs work well and revolutionized seduction so i wonder how true do you think this statement is and how many ways are there to cold read a woman in a way that she starts feeling rapport with you?

There is no 'cold' reading, unless you count the moment before you see her. You start reading her the moment she appears and you can read her character from her poise, the way she carries herself, the clothes she chose to wear, the make-up she chose to use, the energy she throws around or keeps inside.
All that information before you even catch her gaze.

And if you're smart, you don't tell her that. You only tell her enough to let her know that you see her how she wants to be seen.

that's kind of cold reading as well but you can tell stuffs about her without seeing her as well. there are universal commonalities such as "you are shy around some people but naughty around some"

Spouting general observations that could apply to other women as well is not 'cold reading'.

every woman believe that they are different from others in some way. you don't even need to be a pickup artist or seduction artist in order to observe something like that
