how does a dj react?

Is a DJ a peacefull person, or is he a person that cannot control his temper and offen resorts to violence as a solution. Does he walk away from a fight when someone hooks him in the face cos he knows he wont win? or does he punch them back just so dat he doesnt look like a wuss?

This just happened to me and I need ur advice. I was driving from work back home, I was in the right lane doing 70k in a 80k zone and a guy was flying down at 100k in the left lane, he was about 50m behind me. I gave my indicator and changed the lane and he nearly hit me. Then he came up beside me and started swearing and I did the fingers and started getting smart to him. He told me to pull over on the side I did pull over We argued on whos fault it was and when he knew he was losing the argument, he hooked me in the face. He hit my ear and I bit my lip and got a chip tooth. I stood there like wtf and he walked to his car and I told him to **** off, he was like if he finds me again hes gonna **** me up, I was like yea watever. I dont know why I didnt hook him. He was taller than me and a lot widder than me. Then I jumped back in the car and went home. this was about 0930 at nite. what do u think i should have done? what would a DJ do in this situation? I was by myself and he was alone. If I had a chick in the car I wouldnt even have bothered looking at him and probably laughed at him when he was swearing at me. If i was with my m8s we all would have had a go at him.

forget how a DJ reacts. The important thing is how YOU react and what is the SMART thing.

as for him, I would of hit him back - u? I don't know. What does it matter. I'm not you and you're not me.

If you didn't hit him and he didn't hit you, then you have no reason to pull over. NONE. Pulling over just sets you up to be a victim of road-rage. You don't know if he's packing a gun/knife/baseball bat.

Once he hits you, though, I wouldn't take that shiznit. At that point it's not a matter of DJ or not DJ, it's a matter of protecting yourself from physical assault. What would you do if he hadn't stopped with that punch?

I agree with DZ on this one, "DJ or not DJ" should be the furthest thing from your mind in a situation like that.

You shouldn't of pulled over. That is a bad thing, that is almost welcoming a fight. I carry a gun with me for personal reasons and even in that situation I wouldn't of pulled it out. If I had pulled over and he hit me it would of been on, but that is the risk you take when you put yourself in that situation. However if the guy would of got out and pulled a gun on me he would of been a dead man!

Just be fvcking careful! A DJ is smooth and reads the situation and is aware, that was not a wise choice!

Perhaps pulling over wasn't the greatest of ideas, but a person has every right to defend himself. Just be aware of legal ramifications--even when you were attacked first.

This happened to me a few months ago. I was at a street festival with my friends, enjoying the music of many bands playing and having a good time, when some guy grabbed my HB8-cousin's @ss. I was standing right by her when this happened and was like "what the fvck?!" Meanwhile, about 10 of this guys friends surrounded us and started hurling expletives and threats. At this point, a crowd started gathering around expecting a fight. Another friend of mine walked up and asked what was going on. My cousin explained that this guy grabbed her @ss. My friend asked "which one?" When she pointed the guy out, the b@stard sucker-punched my friend in the face, breaking his nose and knocking him down.

Now keep in mind there were around 10 of them and only around 5 of us. I immediately jumped back and went into full-on defense mode. A fight ensued, at the end of which a bunch of cops arrested US. Despite our insistence that we were merely defending ourselves, the attackers got away scott free while we were arrested, charged, and spent the night in jail.

To say the ordeal sucked would be an understatement. Still, I refuse to feel guilt or regret for defending myself. Don't look for trouble, but if it finds you protect yourself.
