How do you succeed on POF with a bigger success rate?

I have been struggling lately with POF. I get the girl to reply, but I get short messages back and they don't seem very into it and I can't get them out for drinks. What do you guys do normally to get these girls interested? i know you dont message back and forth alot but what do you message online with before asking them out for drinks?

I would try to get a date almost immediately. Don't waste time messaging. There are some girls that just want to message. You just have to keep at it. It is a job! Most of the girls I have seen on OLD are pigs.

Thanks, my physique right now is pretty average though, so that is the problem I am having I would think I am in process going to the gym, but I sort of strained my quad on legs last week so I am having trouble getting things going.

I don't worry about success rate. Just keep sending messages. I basically nexted two girls because they flaked on the first date. They came up with excuses. In reality they have lives too and things come up. I told them that that was OK and contact me when they wanted to get together. Guess what? This was a few weeks ago and I just got messages from both of them asking if I wanted to still meet.

I haven't really tried much because the pickings are slim, but I have had about 8 dates in a short time. Also I am dating just to keep busy and practice my conversation skills. I am still getting over a break-up, but I have gotten lucky a few times.

Do this 100 times and you'll likely get 10 responses; of those 10 who respond 3 will maybe actually meet you; of those 3 you'll have a good chance at laying 1 of them. The better your photos, the better your email-to-lay ratio.

Yeah it's a numbers game, you might feel like a spammer, but hit up as many ladies that seem at least "doable" to you.

POF is bad for getting responses, for every 50 messages I send I maybe get 5 replies.

I used to work in marketing research & depending on what city you're in, some OLD sites have male/female ratios skewed as highly as 80:1, so good luck.

When I was doing the online thing I tried both. Asking for the meetup right away and exchanging a few messages back and forth before suggesting it. No disrespect to anyone here but asking for meet right away never worked for me. Not once. I know some guys here have used that method with lots of success but for me it never worked. For me, 3-4 messages and then getting the number and scheduling a meet was what worked best. You have to experiment with both and find what works best for you. I have used Okcupid, match, and POF (very briefly) in the past but have since closed all my accounts.

A little off topic, and maybe it's just my area, but POF is filled with fat/ugly chicks galore. I'd say 9 out of 10 fall into this category. Tinder seems to be a lot better than POF.

Do not make any excuses for women whatsoever. It is a tough habit to break.

Women are counting on you making excuses for them or eagerly accepting their weak excuses when they are blowing you off or just not interested enough. Do not buy their bullsh!t.
