How do you stop people from killing your vibe?

I was at a reunion of sorts recently and I came across a woman who I knew from a couple years ago when I was a full-blown AFC. She called me out in front of everyone saying that she was surprised I'd even show up to a social event.

Now, most of the people that know me now know that I'm social, but it's still irritating to get this type of stuff from someone who then goes on and treats other dudes like they're all that.

I was social at the reunion before and after that incident, but it was still annoying and made me a bit self-conscious for a while. Do you just laugh at these people? Say "fck em" in your head even though you know you'll never be able to change their mind because they're too stupid to?

It's a form of bullying man. It's like she's implying to everyone else that you are a reclusive person with low self-esteem which is really irritating if you let it get through your nerves.

It's actually people like her who are insecure with themselves do that to other people. She seeks other people's approval by acting toughie, superior unto somebody else. She's hiding her inferiority behind those acts.

It's either you ignore her like a piece of sh1t, let them have their seconds of fame because they're too insecure they badly needs it, or, you answer her in a civilized way and show those around you who's the fool.

You can't throw lines the same league with these trolls because they'll only beat you with experience.

One of the biggest things ive been trying to stress to my biggest AFC friend for years is that you CANNOT be everyone’s friend

Theres always going to be that one person in that one situation that isn’t
going to like you, your vibe or your ideas full stop.

What do you do with these people ?

You wipe them off the face of your earth

Don’t even give them eye contact they will soon get bored because they cant get a reaction from you

I don’t see the point in arguing with someone of a lower intellect than myself

Whenever i'm attending a social event where I don't really have someone I know I can chat with all night i'll usually buy a nice cigar. I'll start off by buying a drink, make a couple rounds, head outside to smoke my cigar maybe chat up the cigarette smokers and jet.

Someone says something stupid and i'll just move on to the next group without so much as a recognition to what they said.

Had this happen to me once with a girl I nexted. Went over to say hi and I could already tell she wanted to give me a piece of her mind. she said some butthurt nonsense I laughed, said oops and moved right along lol. Kinda funny in hindsight.

Moral of the story: Don't make peoples problems your problems. If someone is upset at you they have a problem. If you just ignore it, they still have a problem. Leave them with their problem dude. Don't let other people affect you so much, all it does is give them power over you.

I completely think this is the case. Thanks. I realize that with my friend she was acting all doting and treating him with respect and with me, complete 180, she just needed to feel superior to someone.
