how do you start a LTR

a couple of my female friends have been flirting with me and I know they want me as their boyfriend. I like one of them. However, we have been talking like friends, we joke around some random stuff. I don't really know how to escalate from friend talk to partner talk. Visit her and talk doesn't do anything. How do I go the next level? I just feel weird to kiss her or hug her for no reason.
