"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

There's this girl I know. I've been trying some Don Juan things on her and I get missed results. She seems to like me for a number of reasons. 1. She looks at me when I'm not looking. 2. She seems to match my walking pace. No matter how fast I walk she seems to catch up to me. 3. She likes to talk to me. 4. She has told me I'm cute and intelligent on a couple of occasions and said that I should never change for anyone.

At the same time I get different results. We have mentioned going to the movies a couple of times, but we have yet to go. I thought she was just saying she would go just to lead me on. Naturally I would assume she wasn't worth my time if she wasn't really interested in going. However, once she realizes that I'm not going to ask her again, she will drop a subtle hint that shows that she still wants to go. Something like asking me if I went to see the movie we were suppose to see, and another time volunteering what days she was off. She is always busy, but will feel bad about it and then volunteer another day we can go. She will talk about how great the movie will be and the reviews. Maybe she really is busy.

She just recently broke up with an friend of mine. He blew it before they got really intimate, by cheating on her. Because of this, her trust of men has gone down.

She once tried to intimidate me. I have learned the power of eye contact from this site. One day she was staring at me. Once she realized I wasn't looking away, she told me she was trying to intimidate me and I was suppose to look away. I kept my eye contact and she eventually looked away.

I would apreciate some advice about what is going on and maybe some tips. I'm not sure if I'm in the friendzone or not. What does everyone else think? I wish I could offer more incite on this.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

It all seems abit to uncertain to me. Have you said lets go to the movies at this time on this day. Organise a date when she is free and stick to it. If she breaks it off then shes prob not worth it. Same if doesnt give you a date. Means she cant see you as that important if she cant make any time for you. If either of these are the cases then cut loose until she chases you. IF she does go out make a move and see what happens. Either way you are messing about atm when you need to get down to business and find out if she likes you for real or if shes wasting your time

Assume attraction. Set up an activity together. Give her a chance to reciprocate. If she flakes, it's her loss. Gauge her interest entirely by her actions.

It sounds like she's interested, but maybe she's just got a few doubts running through her head (probably due to splitting with your friend). It's important that she feels no pressure from you or it will scare her off, so you have to tread a fine line.

I would suggest being more clear about your date to the movies. It sounds like she really wants to go with you and that sounds more like a date than hanging out with a friend. However, you need to specify days when YOU are free. Don't allow yourself to be taken for granted by fitting in with her schedule and being available when it suits her.

Better yet, next time you are together and have the day free, be impulsive and offer to take her there and then.

I was in a similar situation earlier this year with a girl who left her boyfriend to be with me. She was into me, but still had doubts floating around her mind. One day she'd be all over me and the next she'd have some regrets about leaving her boyfriend.

My advice is to play it cool. Her interest will probably fluctuate from day to day and you will have to learn to adapt to these moods. Make the most of her high interest - those are the times to make your move, and when her interest is low or she acts cold, back off and ignore her for a while. In my experience, this is the best way to deal with indecisive women in general.

Good luck.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Forget the movie. It's like dinner, too date-like. Go and do something with her and make her wonder if it is a date. If she ever asks, "Is this a date?" tease her for coming on to you.

from a woman:
http://boston.craigslist.org/about/best/sfo/72823945.html

casually ask her somewhere. If she comes up with something like “I don’t date” act surprised and offended that she thinks it was a date. Make it awkward without you looking like the conceited one or blowing it out of proportion (subtlety is key!). Let her think that THAT was her idea, not yours. Trust me, she is painfully adverse to leading men on. More than likely, she has been accused of it since puberty and it hits a nerve. Maintain bits and pieces of conversation. Then, and honestly I mean this, she will ask you to do something. Do it, ... because otherwise she’ll feel rejected.
