How do you let other plates down when going LTR?

I'm certainly not at this stage at the moment but, thinking ahead, I have three quality plates right now... I could see any one of them being LTR-worthy down the line if things continue to go well and if they were to ask.

My question is, should the day come that one of these girls pops the exclusivity question and I decide it's something I want to do at the time, how do I drop the other plates? My instinct would be honesty - tell them that I've really enjoyed our time together but things have started getting serious with another woman and it wouldn't be fair to anyone involved to continue on like this.

Because I'm realistic about the success rates of LTRs, I would ideally not want to break these plates completely. How do you guys handle this kind of stuff?

I have the same problem. Thinking of faking my own death. Then I can reappear later as my twin if things don't work out.

I just did it....

I didnt mention it to the other plates until they texted me and were asking to meet up. I just said "Its probably not a good idea....im seeing somebody exclusively now" and left it at that. She actually replied with a "Awe good for you, good luck" but I know she was p1ssed. Just dont make it a big deal that way you wont slam any doors. If the LTR doesnt work out, she wont hate you enough to ignore you.
