I'm not really bothered by rejection, I know its a part of dating and meeting women. My only concern is that sometimes things get screwed up between me & the woman when I ask her out, so I usually avoid doing that. Which sucks because today college started and I approached about 6 girls but didn't number/date close with any of them (some from class, some on the streets), I just talked to them a bit because I don't want to alienate them when some say no.
I know all the stuff about 'who cares what other people think' which is usually the response, but I do care. I don't mind rejection, but I'd rather not push people away or alienate them, esp. not if I have to push away or alienate 20ish women a month. How do you guys deal with it, and if its not a concern of yours what is your perspective on the subject so you don't care about it? I'd like to either learn to stop caring, or learn how not to alienate them in the first place, or learn how to smooth things over afterwards.
The reality is if I just keep talking to them like nothing happened afterwards that could work. In my experience alot of women just say 'no' automatically and seem to change their minds later. So asking them out, then staying on good terms with them should work out.
