How do you get a job with no experience

I just graduated from college with a degree in Advertising. And every job I see/hear about is either a sales job, or they want 3-5 years experience.

I'm a pretty good copywriter, and I just want to start working a real job. What do you guys think?

Advertising degrees aren't exactly in high demand right now, you might have to take whatever you can get

I've been trying to get into local magazines, and tv stations since agencies aren't really hiring creatives right now.

I just want to do somehting that will count as experience, and I also don't want a sales job.

what about working as a copy editor?

That'd be fine too, I'm looking for anything that will let me showcase my skills. whether its writing, editing, or something else out of the creative department it really wouldn't matter. Once I'm in I can get where I want by showing whoever my boss ends up being how good I am.
