I wear jeans and a button up too. But I just dress how I normally dress. I look good and feel good. If you feel that way about yourself thats all that matters.

Peacocking is always good, could go with a tight snakeskin style outfit :p .

But, personally, I wear khakis or jeans and either a tight-fitting polo or a button down shirt.

lol. i think im gonna try to pull off a tie. buttonup/khakis/tie. hope it goes well.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

If you're gonna do this, do not tuck in the shirt and don't pull the tie all the way up to your neck.

I use to do this all the time. In fact, I would tie the tie longer so that the end came down past my crotch. It was very obvious that I wasn't really "wearing" the tie.

When I was in Japan, I would always have something that stood out. I was in the military, so I would take a glow stick and put it in my drink. That got a lot of attention. Then everybody started doing it and it wasn't so cool.

I've also came to the club with a dozen roses and given them away to random chicks. I would stop by the grocery store on my way to the club and just grab some. They were only about 15 bucks for the dozen. I would pass them out to the girls that I thought looked best, and whoever still had a rose after I passed out my last one were the ones I would talk to.

Me and my friends threw a Mardi Gras party and of course the thing that goes with this theme is the beads. We had 2 boxes of beads left over after the party and figured we needed to get rid of them. I also had beads that were in the shape of a neck tie that I wore with my outfit. Anyway, when we go to the club, before we even got in girls were asking the security guards what the beads were all about. "They brought those themselves" Throughout the entire night girls would come to us asking what they had to do for the beads. We honestly didn't have the intentions of making them show their boobs, but a few would just walk up and do it real quck, then ask for them. Overall, we simply gave them to the chicks who were just cool down to earth people and knew how to take a joke.

If you can wear t-shirts at the club, I would go for something with a witty saying to it. Most places in San Diego, CA you can't wear t-shirts, so I would wear a sports jacket over the t-shirt. My outfit was brown dress shoes, blue jeans, t-shirt with witty saying and sports jacket. The shirt would say something like "Pick up artist" and have a picture of a pickup truck. You could always see when girls were reading, then they would smile. Instant opener.

Nash pretty creative haha

As far as what I wear to clubs it depends. For the past 6 months I've been coming up with my own style. Like from the ground up, I know exactly how I want to look, and can even pick out what would fit into my style in a instant due to the image I have.

My #1 rule...

Stand out - I now hate looking like everyone else. My look is an expression of my internal state and that goes as far as my quotes, inside jokes, etc. Everything is different.

My #2 Rule...

Create a Character - When were talking about cloth, you basically have a ****load of looks that you can come up with, but you have to be creative. Like a video game you always know the main character because in some way there different whether its there look or personality. There dress code and personality complements each other.

My #3 Rule...

Accessories!!! This makes you look so much different. Ever seen a girl all dressed up with a sh!tload of accessories and then look at another girl who is dressed up with no accessories. Accessories make you so much more edgier.

My #4 Rule...

Don't wear cloth that have the "Brand" Stamped so big on the shirt that it ends up being the center of attention. If the shirt is to grab attention and the brand's name is on the shirt, atleast make sure it's not as noticeable. Like someone would have to really look at it to see the name.

Right now I can see myself changing my look in about a month or two because people are starting to catch on to the brands of cloth that I wear. Even though they don't have the same look as me I'm very strict on being tottally different.

I tend to only wear "Raw" denim jeans because one the feel fuking great and the fit is sick and two because when I finally wash them they will always be different than anyone else's jeans because it all depends on how hard you wear them. (I may go as far as washing it in the ocean) I'm addicted to raw denim and thats the only kinds of jeans I wear now.

Note - I think anything could look well put if they are well fitted. Baggy and loose clothing makes most cloth look sloppy. There are only a few people I know who pulls off the "rapper" look and actually looks good.

My current looks
1. Day time: I sometimes wear this to a "Specific" type of club because I'm big in the scene, with a dance group and stuff. So wear this and up the accessories.

Shirts - Gfx Tee, I like gfx tees with not too well known name brands. For instance you'll never see me in a Ed hardy shirt, to many people I see wearing it. (Brands: Affliction, archaic, Black Hearts Brigade, drifter, iron fist, salvage, monarchy)

Jeans - Raw denim, these are the only kinds of jeans I wear now. Before I was going to get True religions before everyone started jumping on that band wagon so I never went for that and instead was going to get "Antik" denim but 07 people started hopping on the wagon. So I bought my first Raw denim and then got addicted to it. (Brands: Nudie, Pace, APC, Acne, Tiger of Sweden, WESC)

Note - Majority of those brands are from sweden and aren't big in U.S yet. (Maybe only Nudie, APC) I'm a big fan of sweden denim because most of them tend to carry "Raw" jeans and there good quality. My next mission is to start getting cloth from japan as I found a site that makes you order cloth from the biggest japanese mall and the shows you how to get them to ship it to U.S, so I'm surely trying that.

Accessories - Right now I only wear crazy belts, not belt buckles because I don't really like them as much as a nice belt design. I some times have something on my wrist, but I haven't really upped my accessories.

2. Night Game

Shirts - It depends how I feel, but sometimes a T-shirt or a Button up that is DIFFERENT. Most of the time I'm wearing a real fitted blazer. (Usually White, multi colored, or gfx blazer)

Jeans - Raw denim, thats all I wear

Accessories - It varies, but I like trying on ties

Also, most times I'm a suit person. Most of my suits are 2 piece, but I bought a 3 piece recently and loved it. I don't button up the jacket so that everyone can see that I'm wearing a vest. Shirts with cuff links are a must. The links usually match whatever tie I'm wearing.

Most places that I go to are no jeans/tennis shoes/t-shirts/polo shirts. With that said, most people will simply wear dress pants and a button down shirt, no tie. I automatically stand out above them simply because I'm wearing a suit.

Now, don't go throwing on your sunday best at a place where it's not needed. I always dress for the occasion. If I'm dressed a certain way and don't wanna change, I'll simply hangout at a place where the way I'm dressed is acceptable.

nash... you seem like you really know whats up.

I think I pulled off the tie pretty well I didint tuck in my shirt nor did I tie the tie all the way up.
One thing you mentioned that I wish I had thought of was the vest. That sounds like a great addition that puts you in that classy zone without looking like a douche either. brilliant.

The beads idea is pretty awesome too, i hope you dont mind if I steal it someday.

Glad everything worked out for you! I use to do that tie thing every single saturday in down town san diego. other guys caught onto it and it stopped being so cool for me.

that vest thing can go a long way. if you're in a place that doesn't call for a suit, but you still have to dress up, a vest will definately make you stand out more than a guy wearing a button down and slacks.

knock yourself out with the beads thing. you'll definately see a lot of boobies the night you do it.

we throw a lot of themed parties and have a lot of left over crap afterwards. another thing we thought about doing but never did was right after our hawaiian party. we had leighs left over and thought about taking them to the club too. "Looking to get leighed tonight?" We still have them in a box, but the summer is pretty much over so that probably wouldn't go over too well. also seems pretty cheesy. just an idea though.

have fun!

This one night I wore one of those shirts that grabs people attention, like those I'm with Stupid shirts. Mine was a really long paragraph that said fvck at the end so they'd be forced to read the whole thing. I would always catch girls [and guys, I usually get the guys reading my shirt more often] reading my shirt, and I'd spit my game then. This one time actually I was dancing, and didn't even notice this really hot asian girl trying to read my shirt but I kept on dancing, and she actually STOPS me and says "Hey can you stop for a second? I'm trying to read what this says." I looked at her, kind of scoff, and continued dancing. Later on we talked, and things hit off from there.

yeah most of the clubs i go to all have a collar requirement so the witty t-shirts are out.

Question: Whats your guy's approach at the clubs? Do you go straight for the hotties? Alot of times the Hotties are just out rejecting left and right...how do you build social proof?

Right now all I can do is just rest on a sort of peacocking and then dancing with not as hot chicks in the beginning in hopes that the hotties will rememebr me by my peacock and rememeber me lataer when I approach.

kinda like "oh theres tie-guy dancing with another girl, he sure has alot of social proof" lol.

My first time clubbing, I used a fade ID, so I was really nervous getting caught. My game was completely thrown off, it was such a new environment, though I made an effort to keep my body language the same. I was just chillin on the wall, and the two hottest girls in the club wanted to dance with each other [my friends who visit the club every week said they have a reputation of leading guys on and rejecting them], but they wanted to use the wall, and there was no room left. One of the girls literally threw the other girl on my, and all three of us started dancing. All my friends and most of the guys around me were giving me mad props and were just amazed.

Knowing their reputation as heart breakers, I could have done something to make them attracted to me, but I was still incredibly nervous, sneaking in illegally and being in a new environment, I didn't do anything...

Well the point is, my body language was what me them choose me out of all the guys on the wall.
