How do you deal with gf who is more ambitious than you?

What do you think about a LTR with a woman who is more ambitious in life than you are? I am not too ambitious (i admit) and get always a turn off when i start to feel a woman is more ambitious then i am. Do other man have it as well or maybe not, and why?

Ambitious in what?

I mean...if she is ambitioius with her career...then I would be behind her 100%. I personally prefer those kind of women. If she is ambitious with her schooling (assuming she is in school), that's the woman I also prefer.

Now...if she is "ambitious" in the sense that she wants a 3 Million U.S. Dollars house or a $5,000 pair of shoes or a Ferrari...well, I don't view that as ambitious. I view that as High Maintenance and somebody that is not compatible with me in the Economical area.

Be the calm, relaxed, always positive point in her life. When she comes home after a stressful day making money so you can continue living a comfortable life, give her with great sex, someone to talk to and make her laugh etc. It's the traditional male/female role thing, just in reverse.

But it's not about her, it's about LBO who is having trouble handling it. And frankly if he doesn't embrace it, the relationship is going to be rocky.

LBO, you need to work on your self esteem and how you define yourself because until you do, you will keep comparing your girls ambition to yours. With time you are going to get bitter and it will come up negatively in the relationship.

Until you find something to do yourself to which you are proud of, you will have this jealous undertone which women can and will tune in on.

OP, you are most likely confusing "different ambition" with "lack of ambition".

Example:

Girl wants to take a jog, and is adement about running.

Vulpine wants to kick back and watch the sunset over the lake while sipping a martini.
____
Girl's ambition: get some exercise
Vulpine's ambition: soothe jangled nerves with some relaxation

Both have ambition, just in different areas.
It's not a problem, so see it that way.

If girl is more ambitious than a guy and earns more etc.It just wont work. Man has to be man, woman has to be woman.Man needs power and if hes below woman he looses it so it has to crush sooner or later.
