How do women process regret?

I have seen low IL changed to High IL but do women generally waver in their interest level all of the time?

levels of: attraction, interest, commitment. All are interwoven. Yes, all are fluid and can be lost - especially if there is poor communication, inconsistancies, lack of opportunities to create trust and demonstrate one's trustworthiness.

The more consistant a man (and the woman) is - the less chance of waivering, in my experience.

Seeing someone on a train, bus, coffee shop, grocery store but not saying hello when the moment comes.

Argh!

This is something I went through just a few days ago. I saw this man who stood out amongst the other people at my regular coffee shop - we exchanged smiles and he came over. He was a man I saw quite frequently, anyway I was so nervous I told him I had to go. Stupid me. Wish I stayed and talked to him more.

I tend to ponder about situation like that for days, thinking of how it would be if I did something differently. Guess I have too much time on my hand to do that!
