"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

if someone else is being the center of attention, especially a guy, how do i steal it from him? And how do i make it not noticeable? Is there a good way to befriend him and laugh at his jokes, then branch off of the jokes with something that I can follow up with?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Something I've seen a lot of guys do: if one guy makes an interesting comment to the more outspoken guy, then the outspoken guy steals the idea and loudly says it to the whole group. I don't really like doing that, I prefer to create my own ideas.

I think there is a dynamic that is usually set very early in a group of dominance. Once you establish that dominance, you'll generally find it easier to keep it. But it can work the other way too. Sometimes I don't say much for whatever reason and some guy will try hard himself out. Then the nexy thing you know the chick is trying to get rapport with me, and I really haven't done much. I just didn't show immediate interest, waited for him to tryhard out, then when she turned her attention to me I slowly started responding.

In general, because most guys come across too "flat", boring, shy, and insecure, I'd say it's better to try overtalking than undertalking until you figure out the social rythems. If you talk your head off, you'll learn when to back off. If you're quiet, you'll probably be perceived as insecure and never make any changes at all.

This is going to sound all new agey and ****, but I was talking with this buddist chick, and she was telling me about the 4 dimensions. Like imagine your life Completely free of worry, Imagine yourself being completely excellent with others, etc etc. ALl of a sudden I got this huge weight off my shoulders when I was imagining myself swooning all the people in bars and casinos and such. I saw myself as this awesome entertainer. Even doing the shyt for real had no where near the impact those visualizations had on me.

Then there is acting classes, comedy classes, making sure you have daily conversations with people, taking a job that provides interaction with strangers (sales jobs for example),etc. All of these things will get you better naturally, so you don't have to think like this anymore in the first place. If you took a sales job in the mall greeting customers that walk by, man, you'd never have to think what if some guy steals spotlight. You learn to interact with people so fvcking well, that would just almost never happen. You get so intune with people.

Attention *****? No, have you ever been around someone who you didnt know but had all the attention from everyone around because he was telling stories and makin jokes. whats a good way to switch it to yourself? If all the girls are looking at this guy and wanting to be around him, how can you steal the attention so that its you who the girls want to be around?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

You know the best way to do this is what you already suggested, befriend that guy and take credit for his material :) :)

I trade FX and there is a saying... "never go against the trend"

The guy who has the females attention is a train coming your way, if you step in front of it you're going to get laid out quickly. If you can get on the train you have a much better chance of stopping it... get it ??

Join the guy and support him, matter fact become his bIGGEST supporter out of the group and then he'll start to let YOU make some jokes and you can just emulate until you gain enough power to take him down... The lead dog always slips up once in a while... when he does just pounce and take the spot...

Group dynamics is VERY interesting, most of the people in the group are probably tired of o'l guy running the show anyway. They know he's powerful and are scared to stand up against him, so they follow along hoping for the chance to climb up the group ladder... when they see another guy (YOU) gaining power they will side with you in an attempt you can take them higher as well... it's all a power-play my friend

The lead dog always slips up once in a while, lol. Thanx for the advice:) If i try to stop him, he'll get defensive and speed up, if i befriend him, i'll just be helping him out in a way when he messes up, and he probably won't suspect my intentions.

Well if you try to stop him before you have enough power, he'd be STUPID to speed up or get defensive... all he'd have to do is just sit back and let his 'pack' do the fighting for him. U'd try to overtalk him and everyone would give you the... "Who's this clown ?" look and then promptly ignore you...

I've been the leader before and its funny seein other guys try to take me down, it's sad. I don't even have to say anything, just give the... "look at this guy" look and then everyone chuckles as they know that was a command to ignore the schmoe... lol i love power-games... getting the power is tough, but once you have it... damn its sexy

You guys and all your jealous competition, you can't handle anyone else being charismatic so you want to take his glory for yourself instead of sharing in it. Do you guys even consider that while he's AMOGing you can steal away a couple of sheep from his flock?

^ ^ That's not what he wants, he wants to be the center of attention...

I agree, let the guy talk... take his puss, but this young man wants attention so I just helped him attain his goal... chill out

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Yeah, I'd hang around in a group with a guy wanting to be the center of attention who can't even integrate himself into the conversation. I'm with syemour, if it needs to be stolen it isn't deserved. Do you normally operate that way?
