"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Let me start with some background here...

So basically I have this thing for this girl(we'll call her K), I can tell she's feeling me... she just broke up with her BF and is now newly single. We hung out last weekend, and she said we should hang out more often.. she shows me a lot of attention and we talk quite a bit. So basically things were going great until a guy moved in on her also... The gay thing is.. she was gonna go with her BF to prom, however not anymore.. and the guy (we'll call him M) moved it. He asked her to prom, and she is going with him so the BF isnt in the picture any longer.

So M and K are now going to prom, it's pretty obvious he's attracted to her, I also know that he's a player. So with them going to prom means Dinner.. hanging out at prom.. then afterwards at her house.. he'll probably spend the night.. she's having a few people over and invited me to go along also. Should I go, or not?

So what i'm afriad of.. is that she'll be swallowed into his game and they will end up hooking up and possibly more, with prom being a gate way for that occurance.

I would have asked her to prom, but I already have a date, and prom is next fri.. so I would be a huge ass if I called it off with my date.

So K and I are going to the movies tom night.. a double date with another couple, and possibly doing something this weekend.. I dunno.

My Q is, what can to outgame M, and make sure she doesnt fall for him without being a complete AFC?

This guy is pretty tough competition, he's good.

1 small prob I have, that I need to change.. is I feel intimidated by her friends, so I wount talk to her as much when she's around them..at school.

That's gonna change tomorrow though.

This means a lot to me guys, and if you have any advice can it be more than be more mysterious or stuff like that.

Thanks a lot.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

1) If she likes him, she's going to hook up with him. You can't "outgame" him from that. The more you try, the more you're going to become transparent and she's going to see right through you. You'll come across as desperate and the entire thing will backfire. Allow her to do what she wants with him.

2) Stop concentrating on the guy. She said she wants to hang out with you, and you have a double date with her. Work on connecting with her. Establish some rapport, talk about the things you have in common, relax and have a good time.

Don't call it off with your date. Go to prom and have a GREAT time. You have one or two proms in your entire LIFE. There will be a hundred girls. After prom, you can hang out with her. Both you and M will be there but just play it cool. She won't be "swallowed in" by his "game". If she ends up with him it's because SHE chose to and she gets some sort of gratification with him that she doesn't get with you.

Stop. Slap yourself right now! That is the most AFC thing you could have responded with. Fate is for the ***** a$$ guys that never get laid because they rely on a false sense of getting some from it. Fate is a four letter word, so it nuts. Use the latter.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
