How do I get this hairstyle?

I've had my hair long for a while now and with summer coming up it's time for a change. I've brought pics to hairdressers before but without my "helping" them in the right direction they don't do it right. I want it something like this:

Is this like a buzz all over or does this look more like scissor cut? Thanks in advance.

Looks like a buzz all around with a pretty big clip.

Or just a grown out buzz. Month or 2 of growth.

I have exactly the same hairstyle right now I just used a size 5 attachment and did a buzz cut.

I really don't like that hairstyle.

I like it when it's like 4mm but it looks kinda rediculous after it grows to at least 3cm when you actually can do something to your hair aka messing it with a gel or wax.


But hey, that's my opinion when it's on my head. But I still don't see what's cool with that style on that pic. Brad Pitt on the end of Fight Club (the short hair) is looks good when he has around 4mm hair. But I think anything past 4mm untill 3cm looks kinda bad.
