How did you get here?

I forgot to add how I got here.

I stumbled onto pook last summer while going through a hard time mentally, physically and emotionally. I was in very poor health and got stomped on by a girl which really left a chip on my shoulder.

I read a reposted SS post of Pook's on some other site and bought the paperback book. From reading it I discovered sosuave. Like many I came here to gain insight and be amongst men in a more unfiltered setting. I had a fear of succeeding and used this board to bounce off of. I was already aware of the Red Pill and all the jazz, but that isn't what brought me here necessarily. My head had been f*** with by a lot of women and I had experiences that were fairly uncommon and needed a place to speak more openly. I did not come here to learn how to attract women.

I think this board is great, but it can also be horrible if you don't keep your wits about you. Meaning if you allow the negative influences to get to you or are very impressionable it has the potential to poison your mind and lead to some nasty confirmation biases. In recognizing that I think this board has a lot to offer. Many here have different perspectives and provide everything from solid advice to downright roasting in the same thread. The two extremes and everything in-between have their merit.

I was a classical nerd in high school and I thought that I should probably figure out how to interact with girls in college. So I got into PUA books and started applying it. I failed so many fvcking times… but then I got success. I hadn’t even kissed a girl a year ago. Now my body count is 4 and I have two plates. Hit the gym and gained 50 pounds of muscle. Improved my wardrobe and got shirts that fit. Started having fun teasing girls. Got 1-2 numbers a day. I’m very thankful for this community and for the game authors who have most helped me (Roosh, Heartiste, Pook, Saul Tee [Technical Game Bible]).
