How could someone go about becoming the alpha male in the dorm?

So I live in a dorm, suite style, with 5 other guys. How would I go about becoming the dominant alpha male. So far I'm typically they leader, I figure out stuff for us to do, decide when we go eat, stuff like that. What else can I do?

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Be careful how you go about this. Don't do anything that will alienate or annoy the people you're living with to become the 'Alpha' of a handful of people. What will this accomplish practically?

If you're cool enough to fall into that role on your own, that's fine, but don't do anything dumb like try to 'AMOG' your roommates if they joke around with you.
