You're being a hater here, Frog. As has been mentioned, even if it's true that everyone and their brother plays the guitar, how many of them do people actually enjoy listening to? I don't know what it is about posters here, they are ALWAYS putting down or underestimating the guys around them. Like "I am the ultimate alpha male and everyone around me is an AFC beta troglodyte."
The "artistic type" is one of the types that a lot of women find appealing. Even though I have an artistic streak myself, I've always wondered why this is so. It's hard to see how the "artist" is going to help catch the wooly mammoth to feed the tribe. In pure evolutionary terms, why would the artist appeal to women so much?
