"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Think about Chris farley, John Candy, Chris Rock, eddie murphy, Dave chappelle. These guys are funny but they are not sex symbols.
You just listed a bunch of guys that are funny but also act like damn fools.

I'm funny. Girls start to like me because I'm interesting and different and have some goofy perspective on everything that differs from the norm. But I don't act like a clown like those guys you listed. But then again my brand of humor is too weird and not funny for some girls and they're put off. Not a big deal. Funny, interesting, and different gets their attention then charm and sexuality bags them. Those guys you listed I just picture as the type of goofballs who just keep going and going nonstop with the funny and outwears his welcome and has no other substance.

What is incredibly irritating is when people who are not funny in virtually any situation try to be funny all the time. If you're not funny, you really shouldn't try to be. Actually if you're trying to be funny I think you're already fighting a losing battle. My humor stems from things I think when I'm all by myself that entertain me... and i just say it out loud when i'm with people.

Definitely don't laugh so much at your own jokes. It's just pathetic. Especially when no one else is laughing.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

And I'm telling you from experience that if she isn't laughing once in a while or she isn't smiling, then you will NOT get laid. If she's not having fun with you, you aren't getting laid. PERIOD. Oh, sometimes you can get by on pure sexuality, but it's the exception rather than the rule.

Now I'm not saying that you have to be a comedian funny, because that won't get you anywhere. Rather I'd classify it as being "fun" more than funny. But I'm telling you that if she isn't laughing or smiling in some fashion around you, then she does NOT like you and you will NOT get anywhere with her.
Right, but that doesn't mean you have to try to make her laugh.

I speak from experience on this. When you're around a girl who is attracted to you, she will start giggling at anything you say. She will smile and laugh because she is happy around you. If you're new to the situation, you may wonder why she is laughing at everything you say. You didn't make a joke but she started giggling as if you tickled her.

Generally, girls who like you will smile/laugh around you, even if you don't try. That's their attempt at making you flirt with them.

Confidence is key to good humor. We don't see humor threads because everybody is too busy being scared of what to say.

As soon as you start saying whatever comes to mind than your sense of humor will begin to show.
Definitely. I've noticed when I just say what's on my mind, sometimes I make the whole room of people burst out laughing. Most people are so scared of offending someone they don't say anything at all. People are afraid of confrontations.

I'm funny as hell when I say what's on my mind. Well not always, but when you just say whatever, some people will find certain things funny. Don't be afraid, be bold. Just do it.

Rint, you need to shvt the fvck up son.

Listen to what KillaPete says. Read your own damn threads.

And btw, if you really want to be funny and pick up girls like that, become a comedian.

Not every guy who has a girl is funny. In fact, very FEW people are actually funny. In any sense.

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

You can be a comical character, but you don't have to do standup.

Peole laigh for alot of reasons. And usually its not because of a canned routine.

Being funny is HOW you say it. And not as much WHAT you say.

Its more of an attitude and mental state.

I think funny and humor are the most important things to become a DJ. Not like clown or a goof or someone who just shouts random **** i mean like funny. Like Dave Chappelle or Bill Lawerence, and i believe being funny is the hardest thing to become, because it's not like the more you practice the better you get. If you dont believe me look at all the old comedians we use to think were funny and how no a days they try and make a joke and you hear crickets in the backround. So i wanted to know everyone's 2 cents on becoming funny or being funny, because to me it's more crucial then confidence, and its the hardest thing to become.

BECAUSE IT TAKES TIME AND YOU GOTTA PUT IN SOME WORK. START BY DOING A SEARCH ON TIPS ON HOW TO DEVELOP YOUR HUMOR.

Nice thread..thanks to thread owner...well written comments..specially vypros like it... yea women always say that they like funny guys...but in which sense? there is one good quote i remember from this site.."what women wants in a man and what women are attracted to are completely different things"... and i believe that there must be balance in every action..and to me its all about being positive, confident more than being funny..

keep it up!!!

Q. What's the difference between Michael Jackson and acne?............................A. Acne waits until you are 13 to cumm on your face!

They ALWAYS give a horny looking smirk when I tell that joke! They know they SHOULDN'T be laughing, but they just can't help it.

So true!

I was in the movie store other day and on my way out a guy
in a business suit or a tux walked in and I blurted out:
"Did you come from a Wedding,(pause) Or a funeral ?"
Everybody in earshot was giggling.....

Definately Situational,
Avoid canned jokes.
I like to be Cky/funny and Sometimes Sarcastic or playful,
Carefree ,I speak my mind if I think it may get a chuckle or two.

Definately don't try to impress people with repeated canned jokes.

And here's a good joke for ya....

"How do you know when a Mechanic has just gotten Lucky?"

---> A few of his Fingers are CLEAN!

But you don't really have to be all that funny to get a woman laughing. Just get her somewhat attracted to you, and then say something slightly whitty or provocative, and chances are she'll laugh at it (and have fun).
I totally agree with this. But confidence and being funny will get you everywhere with woman.

All we can give you are examples man, humor is something you either have or don't though.

Here's an example from this morning:

I was getting a bagel made at Tim Horton's and I was next to a woman getting a sandwich made. She came on pretty strong, I was impressed... she touched my arm and said she bets that she'll get her stuff first. I told her it wouldn't matter because I'm taking the next thing anyway even if it's for her. She laughed and held my arm again.

It's little stuff like that. I could have smiled and said 'oh you're SO on for that bet' but I feel like that would been a little TOO flirty on my part and ruined the whole indifferent thing.

If I was interested in her, then after I got my bagel, I could have said 'ok, let's go double or nothing... gimme your number and I'll tell you when I go get another bagel; we can race again'.

Just be quick on your feet. Seriously though if you can't come up with stuff fast, you're just screwed for the whole comedy thing. I have buddies who aren't exactly the sharpest knives in the drawer and they are typically very bad at spontaneous humor. That's why I think women love these quick sarcastic jokes, it shows your intelligence in a playful way.

I think being funny is more then just practice, because all these comedians have been comedians forever and after a while they stop being funny. Even though they practice. So i believe theres more to it thats y i posted this thread

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

The look they are giving you is a look of disgust. Here's a general rule of thumb for girls: they don't like nasty humor, gross humor, or gay humor. Those are "guy" types of jokes and you can't tell a girl a guy type of joke.

Seriously, she was probably "smirking" because she was thinking "Get a clue" to you.

You want to make a girl REALLY laugh with a joke? Then tell FEMALE types of jokes. Girls REALLY like it when you can laugh at YOURSELF. So try telling jokes about penis size or make fun of men in some way. It'll be unexpected to her and shows that they don't phase you and that you are secure with yourself.

Drop the "*** on your face" kind of stuff. Seriously, girls don't like that stuff. They think it's degrading. You thought she liked it because you said she had a "sexy smirk" on her face. Well, if you had any clue at all, you would realize that she likes a joke when she LAUGHS, not when she smirks!

Actually gay humor can work really well sometimes. Here's some field tested crap that I'll say:

Girl: Ugh these heels are killing me
Me: Oh don't even get me started, they make me look so hot, but the pain just isn't worth it anymore.

Just stuff like that. If she mentions some woman trouble just be like 'yeah I hate when that happens'.

Almost always gets a smirk or chuckle for me. And it's not a pity laugh.
