How can you tell when a really shy girl likes or dislikes you?

If she's shy, she's not gonna kino, not gonna make much eye contact... it's possible that she could like you while you think she hates your guts.

Shyness is a result of nervousness/insecurity. Look for body language such as fidgetting with clothes, hair, or objects in her hand, smiling (with her eyes as well), and laughing.

What you need to be looking for are signs that she is both shy AND interested. I've seen too many guys let their vanity fool them into overlooking the non-verbal cues, and crash later on blaming her for misleading them. Be a man, but don't be an idiot.

If she breaks your eye contact as soon as it is even possible and she is shy she is propably interested at some level.
She may have been staring you, but as soon as you look her she looks away..

Shy girls are rarely good looking.

Hot Ice, I think that is an over generalisation. They may not be sexy/beautiful, but shy girls have an unspoilt prettiness, that is extremely attractive. Surely that is better than being stuck up, because you have been treated like a princess your whole life.

As some one with some experience with shy girls, allow to say you've got it all wrong. Shy girls are the most fun and rewarding to turn out...

In fact I use to have a saying. "Its one thing for a woman to be beautiful, its entirely another when she knows it..."
