"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Hi,

I have a problem with lying; lying to myself and to others. What are some helpful ways for me to be on the path towards living with honesty?

-thanks

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

You do not love yourself, and you are not worth loving.

CHANGE...

Do you really need someone to teach you how not to lie to others and yourself? You cannot be THAT pathetic.

You got to have self-respect. You have got to live up to your principals and never compromise on them. You've got to be sure of who you want to be and have enough conviction to uphold it even though if it is generally frowned upon. You've got to understand that admitting your faults is not a sign of weakness but a display of strength and willingness to improve. And you have to strive to improve yourself so that you can be what you envision.

Why lie? When you die, do you want to look back in your life and say, "my life was fake, and i did not really live it."

I would rather live poor in an alley than THINKING im rich in a palace.

So when a girl calls or whatever say what you are really doing, this can motivate you to actually do something.

This would be more helpful if you were more specific.

Learn to accept your short commings in life. "Man up" for what you have done whether you liked it or not, doesnt matter what it is. The only way you can better yourself is to accept what you have done in life and move on. "There is no such thing as failing, only feedback".

Don't hide from blame. Take responsibility for yourself. Do you have a sh¡tty job? That's your fault. Are you single and frustrated? That's your fault too. Are you overall disappointed with your life? Your fault. Figure out how you can change all of this.

Recognize what obstacles you have within yourself and find ways to overcome them. Mine are happiness and apathy. When I feel happy or when I'm in a "don't give a fuċk" mood, I won't do anything to improve my life.
