I know several women who watch these shows religiously. Women want to have the wedding, to have their day when they are the center of attention. But they don't want to invest into the marriage, or take the marriage vows seriously. If the poor sap who marries her has to live the rest of his days in squalor because of alimony and child support, that's his problem.
