The average cost of same in US, for a small apartment, is over 1k a month, guys. That's horrible. I get the same thing for under $200 a month. that is, a place to lay my head, AC, heat, electricity. Look around, don't blow your money. Invest the 10k a year that you save, and you will soon have enough money to no longer have to work for anybody.

The rule of thumb is no more than 1/3 of your monthly income to housing expenses. Where do you pay under $200 a month?
I've paid much less, depending upon what part of the country you live in. Look for an elderly person with a room to rent, attic, basement, etc.
